Movie Theatre Schedule
Starting from 1937 when the Toyota Motor Corporation was established, this exhibition looks back at the transformation of motorization and
the Japanese automotive industry over the past 75 years. The exhibition consists of about 50 cars and about 50 scale models - showcasing the
development of Japanese automobiles and some of the innovative ideas in manufacturing technology. The “systematic diagrams of vehicles”
of about 700 Toyota models are also on public display for the first time.

Whether you prefer four wheels or two wheels this
is the show for you. Japan’s major auto manufacturers and independent workshops will be displaying their very own custom-built cars and motorbikes in this annual car show.

In addition to an exhibition of over 100 motor
homes (RVs), attractions include an indoor
climbing wall, a Dutch oven cook off, a pie-making
contest, a smoke cooking lecture & demo, and
two craft corners (requires small fee ).

elementary school students and under. Advanced

The museum also has over 120 historic cars from around the World
on permanent display. Tour the museum at your own pace using a
multi-lingual touch-screen audio guide; costs 200 Yen (only 100 Yen
until April 14), available in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean.
All exhibits have explanations in Japanese, English, Chinese, and
Korean. Information pamphlets are also available in 16 languages.
Flower Marche フラワー マルシェ
Gardening goods, cut flowers, potted plants, flower-derived cosmetics, foods, natural
fiber clothing, and other flower-related goods on sale from over 100 flower & gardening
related shops under one roof! There are also live demonstrations from artists, gardening
lectures, a huge art display, and displays of carnations. For a small fee visitors can try
potted plant arrangement, moss ball making, flower arranging, herb craft, and rose
candle making in the craft areas. There are also four children's workshops to choose from
florist experience, mini bouquet, potted planting, and candle making; no workshops on
Friday.
When: Friday, February 8 - Monday, February 11 (09:30 – 17:00)
Where: Fukiage Hall 吹上ホール - located next to Fukiage Park, a 5 minute walk from
Fukiage Subway Station, exit 5.
Admission: Tickets 1000 Yen - includes 500 Yen shopping voucher. Buy by Feb 7 for just

(L-code 45630) and other locations. Free admission for HS & JHS students, and children.
Disney Live! "Mickey’s Magic Book” ディズニー・ライブ！
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and characters from Beauty & the Beast, Snow White and
the Seven Dwarfs, and Cinderalla will be live on stage in Nagoya for 5 days! Performances
will be in Japanese.
When: Wednesday, March 20 (10:30, 13:30), Thursday, March 21 (15:30, 18:30),
Friday, March 22 (13:30, 16:30), Saturday & Sunday, March 23 & 24 (10:30, 13:30,
16:30); each performance lasts 1hr 30 mins (including a 15 minute break).

Hina Matsuri Special Exhibition 尾張徳川家の雛まつり
The dolls displayed by the Tokugawa Art Museum are from the private collection of the
Owari Tokugawa Family, one of the most richest and powerful families in Japan’s history.
When: Saturday, February 9 to Sunday, April 7 (10:00 - 17:00, last entry 16:30); closed
on Feb 12 & on Mondays (except Feb 11).

Admission: Adults 1200 Yen, students 700 Yen, JHS & elementary students 500 Yen.
Free admission for HS, JHS, and elementary students on Saturdays.

Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra: The 34th Famous Works Series
"Dvořák Selection 3"
名フィル 市民会館名曲シリーズ ‒ 「ドヴォルザーク・セレクションIII」
Conducted by renowned British conductor Martyn Brabbins and featuring violin soloist
Saeka Matsuyama the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing a selection of
music by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák (1841 – 1904). The concert features Dvořák’s
Carnival Overture, Violin Concerto in A minor, and Symphony No.7 in D minor.
When: Thursday, February 28 (18:45) and Saturday, January 26 (16:00)
Where: NTK Hall Forest Hall 日本特殊陶業市民会館 フォレストホール
Access: Connected to Kanayama Subway Station at the basement level; concourse located
