What’s Up in Hiro High School

School Festival
September 4
Our school festival was held on September 6th. We had many visitors this
year. Each first and second year homerooms either made a video or hosted
games for visitors.
Each third year
homeroom had a food booth. They made
and sold okonomiyaki, yakisoba, curry,
and other yummy food. The PTA sold
delicious ice cream and drinks.
Many clubs showcased their artwork
and music.
For example, the Tea
Ceremony Club invited visitors to
experience a traditional tea ceremony.
The Music and Koto Club amazed our
guests with their beautiful songs. The
ESS Club performed a song “Let it Go” from
the movie, “Frozen” in the front yard.
Overall, this school festival was full of
spectacular performances, delicious food,
and entertaining videos and games.

広高祭
９月６日に広高祭が開催され，今年も多くの方々に来校していただきました。１・２学年の各クラス
はビデオ制作，ゲーム等を行いました。３学年の各クラスは食品バザーを開き，お好み焼き，焼きそば，
カレー等のおいしい食べ物を作って販売しました。ＰＴＡではおいしいアイスクリームと飲み物の販売
を行いました。
多くの部活動が芸術作品や音楽を披露しました。例えば，茶道部は来校された方々を伝統的な茶道体
験に招待し，音楽部，琴部は美しい曲を演奏し来校された方を驚かせていました。また，ＥＳＳは映画
「アナと雪の女王」の中から「レット・イット・ゴー」を前庭で歌いました。
全体的に，今回の文化祭は，見事な演奏・演技，美味しい食べ物，面白いビデオやゲームがたくさん
ありました。御来校いただき，ありがとうございました。来年もお越し下さることを心待ちにしていま
す。
