This book aims to enable students who have completed basic Japanese
language study and know 100 or more kanji to learn the 1023 kanji necessary for JLPT N2. It’s designed to let
learners learn kanji and a systematic and efficient manner through the combined use of the book plus an app. The
example sentences can also be used for reading practice, and it could also be useful as supplementary material for
GCSE, GCE and IB.
非漢字語圏の学習者を対象とした、漢字の成り立ちや熟語の語
構成といった漢字のシステムを学びながら、生活でよく用いら
れる基本的な漢字を学べる本です。各課にはゲーム的な練習や、
作文や会話などのタスク活動もあります。GCSE や IB ABINITIO 等
の初級者用副教材としてお勧めします。
This book is designed for Japanese learners whose mother tongue is
not a kanji-based language to help them learn basic kanji for daily life
by introducing the concepts behind kanji, such as their origins and use
in compounds. Each section includes activities such as games for practice, compositions and dialogues.
Recommended as supplementary material for beginners, such as students for GCSE and IB Ab Initio.

This book is for advanced Japanese language learners such as
university students who want to learn how to improve their language
skills and enjoy reading in Japanese. There are 30 volumes in total,
divided into 5 themes: “Yomu koto no tanoshimi” “Nichijou seikatsu
o furikaeru,” “Nihon shakai no mondai o saguru,” “Gakumon no
sekai ni fureru” and “Kuritikaru ni yomu”Each chapter finishes
sections called “Kangaete miyou” and “Sara ni yonde miyou.”

These books focus on 800 elementary vocabulary words needed for
A2-1 Level according to the Common European Framework of
Reference for Languages (CEFR). Aimed at secondary school and
university students, they also introduce Japanese culture and
traditions.

上級者を対象とした文法教材。指示詞や接続詞の使い分け、「のだ」「わけだ」
「からだ」という文末形式の使い方のルールが示されています。又、話し言葉と書
き言葉の違いにも配慮されていて、日常会話で使う形式から論文やレポートを書く
ときに使う形式まで広く学習することができます。
This is a grammar resource aimed at advanced learners. It explains the
difference between demonstratives and conjunctions, and how to use end-sentence expressions such as “no
da,” “wake da” and “kara da.” Additionally, it explores a wide variety of language styles from daily
conversation to academic essays and reports, taking care to show the difference between spoken and
written Japanese.

A revised edition of the Bunka shokyuu nihongo series has been published. The clearly presented, full
colour books include plenty of illustrations. Bearing in mind the most useful Japanese for beginners, the

This textbook allows learners to practice their listening through 40
news stories written in the same style as real news. While studying
the structure and expressions of news reports, learners can train
themselves to pick up the important points of the story. It includes
a CD and booklet of expressions and vocabulary used in news
reports.
