１）最初はお仕事をお探しの外国人のための無料の日本語講座のお知らせです。
1) Today’s first topic is regarding free Japanese classes for foreigners seeking work.
“Japanese Center for International Exchange” will hold free Japanese classes for foreigners who are
looking for jobs in Hiratsuka. Level 1 for beginners will be held at the Kohitsuji Gakudou Club in
Yokouchi Danchi and Level 2 for advanced at the Hiratsuka Fukushi Kaikan.
Level 1 students will need to take a level check test from 10:00am on May 30th. The class will start
from 9:30am to 12:30pm every Tuesday through Friday from June 5th to August 15th.
Level check test for advanced will be from 7:00pm on May 30th. The class will start from June 4th
until September 21st. The time schedule is from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
and Friday. Please apply at the “Hello Work” by Friday May 25th.

10 motor cycles and 7 bicycles were stolen, 6 cars were broken into and 4 snatchings have occurred.
To prevent theft, lock motor cars with U-Lock. For bicycles, wire keys are useful. And you should
take valuables with you when you leave your car.

3) The next topic is regarding School Expense Subsidies “Shugaku Enjo”.
This is a program for students in elementary and junior high school that assists with fees for school
meals, school supplies, school excursions, etc.
Eligibility for school expense subsidies depends on income.
Application forms are available at school.
