『和紙で包む』展
日本の伝統産業である和紙や襖紙は日本の知恵とも言える方法で製作され、機能的で耐久性があり美しく芸術性の高いものです
が、近年になって古来の日本製の和紙や襖紙などの利用が減少し、洋紙や新素材への移行におされ需要は減少を続けています。
そこで、今一度、和紙や襖紙の魅力や特徴を見直し、
その可能性を提案するため、
このプロジェクトが立ち上がりました。
2013年４月ミラノで
『TuTuMt exhibition』
として、MADE IN JAPANを世界に発信します。
TuTuMu exibition with Japanese paper.
Washi and Fusumagami (Japanese paper) are type of paper,made by traditional methods, and handed down
from ancient times in Japan. Washi and Fusumagami have high artistic quality, beauty, functional, good in
durability.However, the demand for those Washi is shrinking as the popularity of machine-made paper and
new high-tech materials increases.Now, we launch this project to make a fresh review of these Washi and
expand the design possibility of Washi.
