One of my favorite holidays has always been New Years and no-one celebrates it
like Japan. Three days of visiting shrines and temples, meeting with friends and
family or having a good time wrapped up in a warm blanket while just enjoying life.
私のお気に入りの休日の一つはもちろん年末年始の休みです。日本ほど素晴らしい
過ごし方はほかにはありません。神社仏閣を3日間にわたってお参りし、お年始回りを
したり、温かい毛布にくるまって寝正月を決め込むのも格別です。
Some of my fondest New Year Memories took place in Japan while spending time
playing igo with my friends and enjoying all that the countryside had to offer.

discipline last year! Now is a new beginning ! This year, 2014, is the year of the

What can I say? Its been a great year! I`ve met so many wonderful students from so
many parts of Japan. No other tourist could boast such a claim, and they`ve taught
me so much about Japanese culture, and history; no book could boast such a claim.
All this in such a short year. I marvel at how much I`ll learn next year. Thank you to
