MOSES’ 4 LIFE-SHAPING CHOICES
I.
ヘブル(Heb) 11:23-27

「信仰によって、モーセは成人したとき、パロの娘の子と呼ばれることを拒み、」
“By faith, Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s
daughter.” ヘブル(Heb) 11:24
「この世と調子を合わせてはいけません。いや、むしろ、神のみこころは何か、すなわち、
何が良いことで、神に受け入れられ、完全であるのかをわきまえ知るために、心の一新に
よって自分を変えなさい。」“Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold,
but let God remold your minds from within, so that you may prove in practice that the plan of
God for you is good...” ローマ(Rom) 12:2
「私たちは神に認められて福音をゆだねられた者ですから、それにふさわしく、人を喜ばせ
ようとしてではなく、私たちの心をお調べになる神を喜ばせようとして語るのです。」
“Our purpose is to please God, not people. He is the one who examines the motives of our
hearts.” 1 テサロニケ(Thes) 2:4 「わたしはあなたがたのために立てている計画をよく知っているからだ。‐‐主の御告
げ‐‐それはわざわいではなくて、平安を与える計画であり、あなたがたに将来と希望を与
えるためのものだ。」“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” エレミヤ(Jer)
29:11

「はかない罪の楽しみを受けるよりは、むしろ神の民とともに苦しむことを選び取りまし
た。」“Moses chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the
pleasures of sin for a short time.” ヘブル (Heb) 11:25 「そればかりではなく、患難さえも喜んでいます。それは、患難が忍耐を生み出し、
4 忍耐が練られた品性を生み出し、練られた品性が希望を生み出すと知っているからで
す。」“We can have joy in our troubles, because we know that these troubles produce
patience. And patience produces character, and character produces hope.” ローマ (Rom)
5:3-4 「今の時の軽い患難は、私たちのうちに働いて、測り知れない、重い永遠の栄光をもたらす
からです。」“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that
far outweighs them all.” 2コリント (Cor) 4:17

for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was

世界の価値観 WHAT THE WORLD VALUES
評判（名声と力）Popularity (Prestige & Power) vs. 24
快楽 ”罪の楽しみ” Pleasure “the pleasures of sin” vs. 25
財産 ”エジプトの宝” Possessions “the treasures of Egypt” vs. 26
「世と世の欲は滅び去ります。しかし、神のみこころを行う者は、いつまでもながらえま
す。」“The world and everything in it that people desire is passing away; but those who do
the will of God live forever.” 1 ヨハネ (John) 2:17
神様の価値観 WHAT GOD VALUES

見るようにして、忍び通したからです。」“By faith, Moses left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger;
he persevered because he saw Him who is invisible.” ヘブル (Heb) 11:27
HOW DO I KEEP MY RESOLUTIONS?

「また、互いに勧め合って、愛と善行を促すように注意し合おうではありませんか。ある人々の
ように、いっしょに集まることをやめたりしないで、かえって励まし合い、かの日が近づいてい
るのを見て、ますますそうしようではありませんか。」“Let us be concerned for one another, and
help one another show love and do good. Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as
some are doing. Instead, let us encourage each other...” ヘブル (Heb) 10:24-25
