He loves to talk about his experiences during the war and would truly enjoy seeing others that served during the war in the Pacific. Kinley V. I{ynn began his service on February 6, 1942 and servcd 3 ycars, 3 months, and 26 days with Company K, 3rd Battalion. Be holds medals for the f,sian Pacific Canpaign t ith 2 bronze stars, the Philippines Liberation rith 2 bronze stars. He was anarded the Bronze Star on March 6, 1991 , 46 years after hc nas discharged, Kinley ras not given a middle name rhen he ras born, hogever, the army insisted that he had to have a middle name or initial , so he gave himself the 'V' and said it stood for 'Victory'. Victory is exactly rhet He had in the Pacific, however, it did cost a lot of American lives. Some of those were related to Kinley and me. Plcase corrcct Kinl ey's address: Kinley v. Ilynn P.o.
