平成 28 年度流域水環境リーダー育成プログラム
本プログラムは多くの国内外の研究教育機関・行
で自己紹介を行いました .
政・企業・民間団体の協力を得て，これまでに 136

しました．学生はバングラデシュ，中国，インドネシ
ア，モンゴル，ベトナム，スリランカ，そして日本と
様々な国の出身です .
前期開講に先立ち，2016 年 4 月 8 日（金）に履修
ガイダンスが行われ，流域水環境リーダー育成プログ
ラム推進室メンバーより環境リーダーとして求められ
るスキルや主な年間スケジュール，講義の履修等に
ついて，詳細な説明がされました .　ガイダンスでは，
学生の自己紹介も行われ，日本人を含む全学生が英語

I think the attractive point of the BWEL program lies in learning Water
Environment together with students from different countries with different view point. Through this program, I expect to enhance my performance ability and communication skills as well as knowledge for solving
various environmental issues. I want to grow up into an environment
leader who can resolve water environmental issues all over the world.
BWEL プログラムの魅力は様々な視点から水環境の学習を行える事だと
思います．プログラムを通して，知識だけでなく，問題解決のための実行
力やコミュニケーション能力を身につけ，世界中の水環境問題を解決でき
る環境リーダーに成長したいと思います．2 年間よろしくお願いします．
I'm passionate about water environmental issues. Through the BWEL
program, I expect to improve my English proficiency and presentation
capability. At the same time, I also expect to acquire knowledge and
skills related to solving various water environmental issues from multiple points of view.
私は水環境問題に興味があり，BWEL プログラムを通して英語力の向
上やプレゼン能力の向上，様々な水環境問題を解決するための複数の視
点を身に付けていきたいと思います．よろしくお願いします．

Nowadays many international students are studying in Gifu University.
Our laboratory has also accepted foreign students and I have a strong
relation with them. Under the situation, I started to have an interest in
international affairs and decided to apply for joining the BWEL program to
enhance my skills in English communication. I am not good at English, but
I will do my best!
岐阜大学は留学生の方が多く，研究室内でも国際的な交流ができる大
学だと思います．そんな中で私も国際的な事柄に関心を持ち，海外の方と
の交流を深めたいと思い水環境リーダーに応募しました．英語は苦手です
が頑張ります．
Through joining the BWEL program, I expect to deepen my understanding of water environment and make use of all things I will learn from
the program in my research study. And I also want to improve my English
skills and hope that in the near future I can communicate with people
from different countries in English.
このプログラムを通して，水環境に関しての知見をより深めて自らの
研究に役立てるとともに，英語力によるコミュニケーション能力を培い将
来に役立てたいと思います．よろしくお願いします．

It is a great honor for me to become a member of the BEWL program.
I am happy to meet a lot of friends from different countries. We learn
together, grow together and share our stories with each other. I will
treasure those two years and do my best to become a good environmental leader!

Through two-year study, I expect to acquire professional knowledge and
gain enough practical experiences that can be used to deal with various

I am so blessed to be the first student learning at Gifu University from
Diponegoro University. Joining the BWEL program is the best decision
that I ever made. Conducting research work, taking distinctive classes related to agriculture and engineering, doing joint seminar and having part
time job make my days so colorful. I will do my best!
私はディポネゴロ大学から岐阜大学に留学する最初の学生になれたこ
とをうれしく思います．BWEL プログラムへの参加はこれまでで最良の選
択だったと思います．研究の実施，農学や工学に関連した独自の授業，共
同セミナー，そしてアルバイトさえも私の日々の生活を彩ってくれていま
す．これからがんばります．

I am very thankful for accepting me as a member of the BWEL program.
I am so happy that I can study and explore the roots of various environmental problems from a much broader perspective including social,
cultural, economic and policy-based approaches with students from different countries. I want to implement everything that I will learn from the
program after going back to my home country.
私は BWEL プログラムの一員になれたことにとても感謝しています．
私は今，様々な国からきた他の学生とともにより広い視点から様々な
環境問題のルーツを探る勉強ができて幸せです．ここで得た知識を母国イ
ンドネシアに帰国した後，役立てたいと思います．
I feel very blessed when I become a member of the BWEL program. By
participating in the program, I have learned a lot of things and improved
and extended my knowledge, not only in my field (plant protection) but
also in the aspect of environmental issues. I will do my best aiming for my
dream of becoming an environmental leader.

It’s my honor to be a member of the BWEL Program. This is not only a
precious opportunity for me but also a new challenge. I hope that I can
improve and broaden my knowledge as well as my English level during
the two years of learning under the program.

とって貴重な経験だけではなく新しい挑戦でもあります．このプログラム

As a student of the BWEL program, I feel truly grateful. Thanks to the
program, I can take one more step forward towards my dream of becoming a top notch environmental leader. In the two years, I will fully devote
myself to pursue my long-cherished dream under the program.

Environmental problem is becoming increasingly serious, so we should
be much concerned about it. At the same time, we need environment
leaders to inspire people to care more about our environment, and let
people and our local environment safe and healthy with real actions. I
want to be one of such excellent environment leaders who can deal with
various environmental problems over the world through BWEL program.
環境問題はより深刻になってきている．同時に，人々へ環境に対する
注意を喚起し，環境を守るための行動をとることのできる環境リーダーが
求められています．私は BWEL プログラムを通して世界中の環境問題に対
処できる素晴らしい環境リーダーになりたいです．
I feel really lucky to join the BWEL program. Through past 2 years, I realized that the program is beyond my expectation. It has not only expanded
my knowledge, but also offered me lots of chances to understand various
countries’ cultures. I hope that I can share my knowledge and energy obtained from the program with other people wherever I go.
私は BWEL プログラムに参加したことをとても幸運に思います．これ
までの 2 年間において，このプログラムは私の想像を超えた素晴らしい
ものでした．知識の向上だけでなく，様々な国の文化を知ることができま

It is my pleasure to be a member of the BWEL program. I am very grateful to all professors and friends who have supported me. During the past
two years as a master’s course student, I learned a lot about environmental issues and have also made many friends from different countries. In the
three years of my study for PhD, I will study hard and do my best in order
to fulfill my duty as a qualified environmental leader in the near future.
BWEL プログラムのメンバーであることをうれしく思います．私はサ
ポートしてくださっている先生がたや友達すべてに感謝します．これまで
の 2 年間で多くの友人を作り，環境問題についてたくさん学びました．こ
れから 3 年間は将来，環境リーダとしての役割を果たせるように，さらに
一生懸命勉強し，全力を尽くします．
I appreciate that I can continue my PhD study under the BWEL program. During the past two years as a master course student, I gained a
lot from the program and had a fruitful days for both research work and
life. I believe that through the next three years’ study, I can have a further
growth in my professional knowledge regarding water environment, and
can let my horizon get more broadened.
私は修士に続き博士課程でもこのプログラムで学習できることを感謝
しています．これまでの修士の 2 年間では，プログラムから多くのことを
得ることができ，学習と生活の両方で実りのある日々を過ごせました．こ

After joining the BWEL program, especially through heated discussions
over various environmental issues with students from different countries
in Joint seminar, I can strongly feel my growth in expression skills and English communication ability. I expect a further enhancement in the skills
and ability, and I also want to build a solid knowledge foundation for becoming an specialist in the field of organic waste treatment.

した様々な環境問題に関する議論を通して，表現力や英語による対話能力
の伸びを確実に感じます．今後，さらなる能力の向上を目指すとともに，
