この度スキージャパンは、2016-17 冬季シーズンに向け、「thekamuiniseko」をオープンすることとなりました。
Kamui は北海道の先住民が用いるアイヌ語の言葉です。アイヌ民族は、動植物、山、川、そして雪や雨など、あらゆる
ものが神聖であるとし、全てが平等の存在と考えてきました。「thekamuiniseko」は、お客様一人一人に、ニセコの壮
大な自然の中で落ち着いた優雅な時間を味わって頂くことができるように、という思いを込めて名づけられました。
スキージャパン、ゼネラルマネージャーのべリンダ・ホワイトは「この度、『thekamuiniseko』のマネジメントの機会
を与えて頂き、大変光栄に思っております。アンヌプリだけではなく、ニセコエリア全体の先駆けとなる新たなサービ
スを展開していく所存です。」と述べています。
