Now, more than ten years into the 21st century, the world is tackling head on issues such as achieving a low
carbon society, harmony with nature and security and peace of mind. Within architecture and urban development
also, many challenges require resolution to an ever higher order. This is the time for us to truly leverage our 110

Nikken Sekkei’s greatest strength lies in its comprehensive integration of urban planning, architecture, structural
engineering, services engineering and landscape design. With the further resources of our group companies, from
city visions to interior detailing, we aim to provide a total holistic multi-disciplinary design service.
We are one of the few professional service firms in the world to have over 110 years of history. We proudly operate in
a fair and neutral manner as we continue to exercise professionalism free of the influence of outside capital. In 2005
we were the biggest architectural consulting firm in the world and since then have retained our top class scale without
acquisition or merger. Developing purely as a group of professional specialists we have continued to accumulate
experience and develop technical skill through over 20,000 projects, in more than 200 cities and 50 countries. From
a Japanese domestic beginning we have established a significant presence in China, Vietnam Indonesia, Myanmar,
