概要
シャトート・ド・ボーカステルはフランスの最高峰のワインの一つとして古くから認めら
れており、その繊細さ、バランス、熟成能力はよく知られています。ボーカステルはシャ
トーヌフ・デュ・パプのアペラシオンの北限の素晴らしいテロワールを持ち、ミストラル
の影響を受けます。アペラシオンで認可されている13品種全てを60年代より栽培してい
ます。
ロケーション
シャトー・ド・ボーカステルはオランジュとアヴィニョンの間に70ヘクタールの畑を所有
しています。
テロワール
シャトー・ド・ボーカステルはアペラシオンの北限に110ヘクタールの地続きの畑を所有
しています。シャトーヌフで最も素晴らしい典型的なテロワールで、表土は丸い石に覆わ
れ、地中深くには砂、粘土、石灰岩が広がります。ブドウの樹齢は古く、50年前から行な
っている有機栽培により、ブドウの根が地中深くまで伸びることができます。アペラシオ
ンで認可されている13品種全てを栽培しています。
開発
品種ごとに手で収穫します。ムールヴェードルやシラーなどの還元的な品種は木樽の発酵
槽で、その他の酸化的な品種は伝統的なエナメルを塗ったコンクリート・タンクで発酵さ
せます。マロラクティック発酵の後、ペラン家のファミリー・メンバーによってブレンド
を決め、その後フードルと呼ばれる大樽で熟成させます。

Cinsault : 5%, Grenache noir : 30%, Mourvèdre : 30%, Vaccarèse, Terret Noir, Muscardin,
Clairette, Picpoul, Picardan, Bourboulenc, Roussanne : 15%, Syrah : 10%, Counoise : 10%
テイスティング・コメント
Tile-red in colour.
A deep nose of wood and musc.
The mouth is fruity and the tannins are dominant and still a bit dry.
To keep for another 3 to 4 years.

This vintage signs a great year. The colour reveals a beautiful deep red, the nose is full of
freshness with notes of noble leather and mature cheese. The palate is very fruity, with
good acidity.

This wine has strong tannins. Therefore we suggest waiting a few more years before
opening. Decant a few hours before if you decide to open now.
Stand the bottle upright 48 hours before serving to avoid any deposit.

Very youthful, with a ripe core of red currant and raspberry fruit and licorice
flavor surrounded by creamy tannins. Plenty of smoke, mineral and tobacco
notes chiming in, but this still has a ways to go, with plenty of grip still on the
