ICT分野で活躍する女性を育成し、成長を応援する国際的な記念日。世界
のICT企業でイベントが行なわれ、エリクソンも世界各国で女子学生向けの
ICTイベントを開催。日本では今年が第一回目の開催です。

"Female Students × Career × Information and Communication“
for the first time in Japan!
What kind of women are working in a global company?
How do they manage work-life balance? ?
On and Off : What is that you have to cherish as a woman?
What kind of atmosphere is an international company?
How will ICT change our future?
The day you think of career and work-life balance to make women brightener in future ICT
society through our young female employees working in our company; it is Girls in ICT Day!

It is the small events for limited to female students and the employees of
Ericsson Japan - engineers and other positions. We are very welcome to who
want to talk in direct with women actively working in international
companies or young female employees with work-life balance!
■International Girls in ICT Day ：
Is to create a global environment that empowers and encourages girls and
young women to consider careers in the growing field of information and
communication technologies (ICTs) and also is an initiative backed by ITU
Member States in Plenipotentiary Resolution 70 . This event on May 31st is
the first time in Japan.

■Information and Communication Technology ：
Is not only utilize to technical and industrial fields related to computers and
networks, but also expected to use of the public sector health care, nursing
care, welfare, and education are also expected in the future.
