2012年 共通テーマ［自分さがし］
高橋ゼミは、自分さがしをテーマに各自が持っている才能を引きだすことを目的にしています。自由に一つのテーマを設定し、リサーチ、企画立案、立体デザインを制作します。一
つのテーマからさまざまなデザイン表現とバリエーション展開をします。その研究発表の場として卒業制作展をとらえています。楽しくなったり、今までにない新しい発想であった
り、「人が元気になるデザイン」を感性豊かにとらえて表現します。
2012 Common Theme: “Searching for Oneself”
The goal of the Takahashi Seminar is to draw out the talent in each student through the theme of “searching for oneself.” Each student selects a single theme of their
choosing, conducts research, proposes a plan and carries out 3D design. Various forms of design expression and variation are generated from this single theme. The
exhibition of graduate works serves as the venue to present the results of students’ efforts. Students enjoy themselves and discover new ways of thinking, expressing
themselves with a rich sensitivity through design that “invigorates other people.”

Ving Takahashi, Package designer, part-time instructor at Kuwasawa Design School
Born in Yokohama. Graduated from the KDS Package Design Research Department, and began working in packaging direction.
Founded Ving Takahashi Design Studio, IFF Company and iff graphics. Member of the Japan Package Design Association and the Japan Graphic
Designers Association. Received the Japan Package Design Award; London International Advertising Award (category award); Japan Package Design
Association’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award; and many other awards. Major works include package designs for TDK (general
design for all audio tapes, video tapes, DVDs, CD-Rs), Suntory (Magnum Dry), and Coca-Cola Japan (Georgia series, Aquarius, etc.).

of the Japan Package Design Association. Received the Japan Package Design Award Gold & Silver Prizes;Ｔhe Japan Package Design Association's
JPC Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award; JPC the Japan Package Design Association Prize; a CLIO Award; Japan Packaging Institute
World Star and Japan Star Prizes; and many other awards.

卒業制作のテーマは［自由なブランドデザイン］です。前期にさまざまなパッケージデザインの課題を体験し、それをベースに自分のやりたいテーマを決めて自由で面白い
ブランドのパッケージデザインを制作します。コンセプトを大切に使う方のことを考えたデザインです。生活に密着した楽しくて、今までにない新しい発想のデザインを提
案します。
2012 Nighttime-Program Package Design Graduate Works: Free Brand Design
The graduation project theme was “free brand design.” Students tried their hands at various package design themes during the earlier portion of their
education, and based on this experience they picked project themes that interested them and freely developed interesting package designs. The concepts were
formulated in consideration of the all-important product user. Designs are based on innovative ideas that are both fun and closely connected with daily life.
