音楽とワインという 2 つの芸術が出会うとき、歓びは 2 倍になるだけではなく、まるで
魔法のような輝きを放ちます。この 2 つが互いに共鳴し合い、感性を刺激するからです。
2 つのトップレベルの芸術を同時に初めて体験できる機会となるのが、今回の
イベントです。最高の音楽と屈指のワインを「総合芸術」として、一晩ゆっくりと都内の
トップロケーションで堪能しましょう。
The Music 音楽
As part of a guest performance by the Vienna State Opera in October 2012, members of the Vienna Philharmonic will of course also be in Tokyo.
Andreas Grossbauer, first violin and the person behind this concept, is himself a great lover of Austrian wine. It is this that has led him to create a
total concept where music and wine come together as equals. A string quartet comprising members of the Vienna Philharmonic accompanies the
audience on an evening to delight the ear, the nose and the palate. It’s an exclusive programme, matched to the best of wines.

2012 年 10 月のウィーン国立歌劇場の来日公演に際し、ウィーン・フィルハーモニー
管弦楽団のメンバーも来日を予定しています。この企画の提唱者である第 1 バイオリン
奏者のアンドレアス・グロスバウアーは、自身もオーストリアワインの大の愛好家です。
そこで、グロスバウアーは音楽とワインを同じように楽しむという全体コンセプトを
考えました。
音色、香り、味わいを感じる夕べをサポートするのは、ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団
のメンバーで構成される弦楽四重奏団です。最高のワインにマッチした最高の演奏
プログラムが披露されます。

Top wines from the best Austrian vineyards, offering the finest produce from the best terroirs: That is «Philharmonic Taste»! Even though Austria is a
small country, it possesses a wealth of culture – including viniculture. Discovering the new and becoming better acquainted with the familiar is the aim
of this evening. «Grüner Veltliner», «Riesling» and «Gemischter Satz» – with the sounds selected to accompany them heightening the pleasure even
more. And last but not least Philharmonic Taste means also a great dinner!
オーストリアのトップワイナリーの最高級ワイン、最高の生産地で誕生した最高品質の
ワイン、それが「Philharmonic Taste」です。オーストリアは大きな国ではありませんが、
文化は極めて豊かで、もちろんワイン文化も成熟しています。この夕べの目的は、新たな
発見をすること、既知のことをより深く探求することです。ワインと調和する音色によって、
グリューナー・ヴェルトリーナー、リースリング、ゲミシュター・サッツなど、一流のワインの
味わいが一段と深まります。「Philharmonic Taste」とは、そんな素晴らしいディナーなのです！
The Glass グラス
The philosophy of the founder of the Vienna Philharmonic, Otto Nicolai, also holds true for the «Philharmonic Taste» project: «The best of efforts,
to give the best in the best possible way!» And, naturally, the wine glass itself is also a part of this. After all, the glass is to wine what the right
concert hall is to music. Only the «right space» makes experiencing the full pleasure possible. And for that reason, all the wines for «Philharmonic
Taste» are enjoyed out of these fine, hand-blown ZALTO glasses.
ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の創設者であるオットー・ニコライの哲学は、「最高の力で最高のものを生み出すには、最高の方法が必要」というもので、それは「Philharmonic Taste」プロジ
ェクトにも反映されています。もちろん、ワイングラスにもその姿勢が活かされています。ワインにとってグラスとは、音楽にとっての素晴らしいコンサートホールのようなものです。「相応しい空
間」があってこそ、十分に味わうことができるのです。そこで、「Philharmonic Taste」で味わうワインはすべて、繊細な手吹きのグラスで提供されます。グラスについては日程により、Zalto 社の
ヨーゼフ・カルナー社長が自ら説明する予定です。
