Privacy and Safety
Privacy and safety features include locating methods and emergency messaging. The following settings are available.

Location
Select the method used to estimate your location. You can also view the apps that have requested your location and review their history logs.
Private mode
Private mode allows you to hide and protect content you want to keep private. You must configure a security lock to use Private mode.
Report diagnostic info
You can choose to enable reporting of diagnostic info when your phone experiences technical problems. Send SOS messages
Enable SOS messages to quickly send an alert to your emergency contacts by pressing the Power key three times.

Private Mode

Activate Private Mode
1. From home, tap Apps > Settings > Privacy and safety > Private mode.
2. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn on Private mode.
3. Follow the prompts to set security for Private mode.

1. From home, tap Apps > Settings > Privacy and safety > Report diagnostic info.
2. Read the consent information and tap YES to enable.
Send SOS Message
Enable SOS messages to quickly send an alert to your emergency contacts by pressing the Power key three times.

1. From home, tap Apps Settings
> Settings > Privacy and safety > Send SOS messages.

2. Tap the ON/OFF switch to activate SOS messaging.
3. Read the Terms and conditions and agree in order to activate SOS messaging.
4. Follow the prompts to set up emergency contacts and enable SOS messaging features.
Location Settings
Your Location services settings menu lets you select how your phone determines its location (using the wireless networks, GPS satellites, both, or neither). Enable Location Services
Before using any features that require location assistance, you must enable your phone’s location services.

Changing Location Method
You can change the methods used for determining your location.
