Minimum Maintenance Road Rob Fischer
Minimum Maintenance Road Rob Fischer 80th Anniversary Hall, Tokyo Institute of Technology 8-14 May Foreword Photographs were taken from a car in depicting the spark of a period within the US. They have been revitalized on numerous occasions with the attachment of new stories by the artist inhabiting different psychological states over time. The reality that we can glimpse through these works changes with each new revision. However, I always experience an unchanging message of sincerity from Rob’s works in the Prairie regions of mid-western America—a place of identity for Americans. Naturally, it is more than just a reality relating to the US, for it is rather a spark within timeless worlds. We are pleased to present Rob Fisher’s works for the first time in Japan.
