合資会社 安川電機製作所を設立
1928（昭和3年）
小形電動機に国内初のボールベアリング採用

水素ガス圧縮機用5000ＨＰ５６極
内圧防爆形同期電動機を製作

Yaskawa Motor Corporation has been a constant, and has supplied you, our
customer, with motors for more than ninety years. While industry has
modernized, environmental destruction has worsened. It is now the world’s
most pressing task to find and implement solutions to counter the problem.
Energy is indispensable in our daily lives, but we have to value the Earth and
use its resources efficiently. The role of energy efficient motors is more
important than ever.
The Yaskawa Motor Corporation has been continuing to meet the needs of the
marketplace with our latest motors and has been developing drive

motor for hydrogen gas compression.

Adopted the aluminum die cast rotors for all
small motors.

Introduced Statistical Quality Control (SQC).
1954
Introduced DC motor and controller technology
from Brown Boveri & Co., Ltd. (BBC)
in Switzerland.
1969
Opened the Nakama Foundry in Nakama City,
Fukuoka Prefecture.
1974
Developed an electromagnetic stirrer
for continuous casting.
1980
Started operation of EPICS-A, the total
management system for technology
and manufacturing.

Introduced medium and large AC rotating
machine technology from BBC.
1995
Certified by ISO 9001.

Started to manufacture super energy-saving
