On the occasion of our annual members’ assembly we are very proud to present a most prominent guest speaker, Dr.
Andreas Dombret, Member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank, who will give his view on crucial
issues of the global financial crisis.
At the same time we take the opportunity to cast light on a specific topic of the real economy: Home Energy
Management Systems. While the topic of alternative energy supply is debated at many events, less attention has been
paid to the “end of the pipeline” - the end-consumer and private households who can actively contribute to providing
energy.
To fill this gap, DJW offers a panel of highly experienced specialists who will give information on smart home and smart
metering, home storage methods as well as techniques, feed-in-incentives and consumers’ behavior, and point out
future market opportunities and chances of Japanese-German cooperation in these fields. The official language of the
symposium will be English, but questions can be posed in German and Japanese as well.
