Read Me First
The NI-488.2 for Windows Driver Software Archive CD contained in this kit provides drivers
for your hardware on Windows 2000/NT/XP/ME/9x. To install the appropriate driver for your
operating system and hardware, follow the steps listed below:
1. Insert the NI-488.2 for Windows Driver Software Archive CD into your CD-ROM
drive. A Web browser displays a list of supported GPIB interfaces for your operating
system. Refer to the example in Figure 1 below.
2. Find your GPIB interface in the list, and note the driver version that you are installing
listed at the top of the column. For example, Version 1.7 or Version 2.2 in Figure 1.

3. Click on the appropriate Supported link. This opens the folder containing the driver
distribution. Double-click install.exe in that folder to start the installation process.
4. For further instructions, go to the section that describes your driver version and
GPIB interface.

Plug and Play Controllers (PCI, PXI, PMC, ISA) starts on Page 1.

External Controllers (Ethernet, USB, PCMCIA) starts on Page 3.

Windows 2000/NT/XP/Me/9x 上で使用するハードウェア用ドライバを提供します。オペ
レーティングシステムおよびハードウェアに対応したドライバをインストールするには、
以下の手順に従ってください。
1. 『NI-488.2 for Windows Driver Software Archive』CD を CD － ROM ドライブ
に挿入します。ご利用のオペレーティングシステムでサポートされている GPIB イ
ンタフェースの一覧が Web ブラウザに表示されます。下にある図 2 の例を参照し
てください。
2. 一覧から GPIB インタフェースを見つけ、列の一番上に表示されているドライバ
バージョンを書き取ります。図 2 のバージョン 1.7 やバージョン 2.2 が例です。

3. 対応するサポート有りのリンクをクリックします。これにより、ドライバディスト
リビューションが含まれるフォルダが開きます。フォルダ内の install.exe をダブ
