The epic and the poetry in this story, told by a father to his
son have brought Francesco Calamai to undertake a
new adventure and for it to chose a symbol: the mythic
and wild fighter jet F 104, also known as “Starfighter”
and his transformation into a unique watch.

L’orologio G-50 non è frutto di uno sterile processo industriale, bensì è stato forgiato dall’acciaio
della turbina General Eletric che equipaggiava il mitico F-104 dell’Aereonautica Militare Italiana, con
l’obbiettivo di realizzare una macchina unica, fatta a mano, che durerà nel tempo.
Per scandire i minuti di tanti ma non molti uomini che hanno la personalità ed il coraggio di vivere
secondo i propri principi e valori.
The G-50 watch is not a product of a sterile industrial process, but rather, it has been forged from the steel
of the General Electric turbine that equipped on the F-104 of the Italian Airforce, with the sole goal of
creating a unique piece of engineering, hand made, that will stand the test of time.
It beats the time of those few men to whom personality and courage are the virtues on which they base
their lives.

Suisse des Cronometres” è un
Ente Svizzero.
Il C.O.S.C. svolge test ed esami di
precisione sui movimenti dei singoli orologi, indispensabili al fine
di concedere lo Status Ufficiale di
Cronometro.
Non tutti i movimenti possono ottenere la certificazione C.O.S.C.
La progettazione e costruzione
del movimento, richiede una particolare attenzione. La qualità e
la provenienza dei materiali deve
rispondere a precise specifiche.
La certificazione
Al fine di passare tutti i test i movimenti devono essere progettati fin dall’origine come movimenti Cronometri; la qualità e la
provenienza dei materiali, così
come la fase di assemblaggio
e la precisione dei diversi componenti richiede un alto livello di
precisione e cura.
C.O.S.C.認定

Ogni singolo movimento è testato
dal C.O.S.C. per diversi giorni (16)
in diverse posizioni (5) ed a diverse temperature (3)
Ogni singolo movimento deve
superare tutti i sette parametri
C.O.S.C.; soltanto allora il movimento ottiene la certificazione
C.O.S.C.
Ogni cronometro è unico ed è
identificato dal numero di Certificazione rilasciata dal C.O.S.C
inciso sul suo movimento. Il medesimo numero è inciso anche sulla
cassa del vostro orologio quale
numero di serie.

Noi vi consegnamo l’UNICO
ORIGINALE

certificato
C.O.S.C. del vostro orologio. Vi
raccomandiamo di conservarlo adeguatamente.
Nel caso dovesse essere smarrito, l’unico sistema per ottenerne copia è sottoporre il vostro

C.O.S.C. takes precision tests and
examinations on movements of
each single watch, fundamental to the concession of Official
Chronograph status.
Not all movements can obtain
the C.O.S.C. The design and assembly of the movement need
a peculiar precision. The quality
and the origin of materials have
to comply to specific standards.
Certification
In order to pass these tests the
movements have to be designed
from the origin as Chronometers
