l Set Voice Input When Using Voice Search: From the Language and input settings menu, tap Voice input, tap a settings option, and follow the onscreen instructions. l Set Output for Text-to-Speech: From the Language and input settings menu, tap Text – to-speech options, tap a settings option, and follow the onscreen instructions. l Set Speed of Pointer for Mouse/Trackpad: From the Language and input settings menu, tap Pointer speed, drag the bar to adjust the speed, and tap OK. Battery Settings Monitor your phone’s battery usage through this settings menu. View which functions are consuming your battery’s charge and at what percentage. You can also display the battery charge remaining as a percentage on the Status Bar. 1. From home, tap Apps Settings > Settings . 378 2. Tap Battery . 3. Tap Display battery percentage to show the percentage of battery charge remaining on the Status Bar. 4. Tap items to view details. Check your battery condition and access additional options. Power Saving Mode Save battery power by activating Power saving mode, which reduces or turns off certain features to decrease battery consumption. Settings 379 Turn On Power Saving Mode 1. From home, tap Apps > Settings > Battery . 2. Tap Power saving mode. 3. Tap the ON/OFF switch to enable Power saving mode. Power saving mode is activated. Ultra Power Saving Mode Conserve power and extend your phone’s battery life by using a minimal Home screen layout, limiting the number of usable apps, turning off mobile data when the screen is off, and turning off Settings 380 connectivity features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Turn On Ultra Power Saving Mode 1. From home, tap Apps > Settings > Battery . 2. Tap Ultra power saving mode. 3. Tap the ON/OFF switch to enable Ultra power saving mode.
