 3. Tap the ON/OFF switch to enable Airplane mode.
Note: You can also enable or disable Airplane Mode through the Notification Panel quick settings (drag down the Status Bar and tap Airplane mode), or though the Power key (press and hold the Power key and then tap Airplane mode).
Data Usage Settings
The Data usage menu lets you view your phone’s mobile and Wi-Fi data usage, set data limits, restrict hotspot usage, and more.

The data usage window opens.
Data Usage Settings Operations
n Enable Mobile Data: Tap the ON/OFF switch next to Mobile data.
n Set Amount for Alert When Data Usage Increases: Tap the ON/OFF switch next to Alert me about data usage, and then drag the horizontal warning slider up and down to set an amount.
l Data usage amounts are approximate. Actual amounts may differ.
l This setting is available when Mobile data is enabled.
n Enable Restrictions on Mobile Data Usage: Tap the ON/OFF switch next to Limit mobile data usage, and then drag the horizontal limit slider up or down to set the data usage limit.
l This setting is available when Mobile data is enabled.
n Set Dates for Resetting Data Usage: Tap the date range to set the data usage measuring cycle. l This setting is available when Mobile data is enabled.
n Check Data Usage for Each Application: Tap an app name to see its usage for the period.
n Enable Restriction on Mobile Data in Background: Tap MORE > Restrict background
data > OK.
l The availability of roaming services is dependent on your service plan. Check with your carrier and service plan for details.
