Gmail Google Settings Google Mail (Gmail) is a web-based email service. Gmail is configured when you first set up your phone. Depending on your synchronization settings, Gmail can automatically synchronize with your Gmail account on the Web. From the Home screen, tap (Gmail). (Apps) ➔ For more information, refer to “Using Google Mail” on page 134. Google Use Google Search to search the Web. From the Home screen, tap (Apps) ➔ (Google) and enter the search text. – or – As Google has become more intertwined with other applications, this menu provides a quick and ready access point to configure preferences for Google+, Maps & Latitude, Location, etc.. You can also use the Search function to initiate a Google Search from this menu. 1. From the Home screen, tap (Apps) ➔ (Google Settings) and select an on-screen option. 2. Tap one of the following options: Apps with Google+ Sign in, Google+, Play Games, Location, Maps & Latitude, Search, and Ads. 3. Follow the on-screen prompts.
