Note: As the unit is very heavy, take great care
when lifting it up.
When disassembling, turn the unit upside
down and put two wooden bolsters under
the unit at its both side ends.
Put gloves on to avoid to injure your hands
with edges of the circuit boards or the
frames.
When reassembling, take care not to pinch
the cables between the circuit boards and
the frames.
注意:本体の重量が大きいため、持ち上げるときには十
分に注意してください。
分解するときは本体を裏向きにして、両端に枕木
を敷いてください。
基板やフレームの縁で怪我をしないように、手袋
を使用してください。
組立てるときは、基板やフレームでコード類をは
さまないようにしてください。

Bottom Assembly
(Time required: about 4 minutes)
Remove the seven (7) screws marked [192]. The
cover plate can then be removed. (Fig.1)
Unlatch the code holder. (Fig.2, Fig. 2-1)
Remove the wires from the Square Bush. (Fig.2,
Fig.2-2)
Remove the thirty-two (32) screws (the thirty-four
(34) screws as for MOTIF ES7) marked [182].

Remove while drawing out bottom assembly in
front of the main unit.

Opening of the Control Panel

The back is turned down. When you remove a
screw, please attach one hand and carry out to a
fall carefully. (Fig.1)
Remove the sixteen (16) screws marked [490], the
screw marked [495] and the two (2) screws marked
[500]. (Fig.2)
Turn the unit forward and turn it up. Please carry
out carefully so that a control panel does not open.

A finger is hung on the central part of the control
panel, a panel is opened, and supporting the panel
with the jig stay (V6295700).

28a. Preparing a replacement PC sensor
The sensor sheet holder of PC sensor assembly is
bonded to keyboard assembly and it can not be
removed.
So in the event of a replacement, send for a new
PC sensor assembly (V6782900), disengage the PC
sensor (with spring) from it, and use the PC sensor
as the replacement parts.
