概要
結線品質を求めたら新しい技術に出会いました。

Encountered was the new technology.
簡易的な結線コネクタとしては、IDC（圧接）コネクタが最もよく知られ
ています。しかしこれは単線を基本とした技術で、撚り線は7本までしか
許容していません。FAの環境下での電線は多様化しているため、その
多くに適用できるよう、新結線技術（Chisel Press Contact）を開発
しました。これにより7本撚り線だけでなく、多芯撚り線に関しても対応
ができ、市場に存在する多くの電線への結線が可能となりました。
Chisel Press Contact is the new wire termination technology
to be applied for many kinds of wire from solid to multistanded commonly used in FA industries.
スマートロック形状 Smart Locking Configuration
ダクトなどを通過させたり、ケーブル同士が密集するようなアプリケー
ションの中でも安心して使えるように、ロックレバーのデザインを工夫
しています。さらに、嵌合の際には“ パチン”とロック音が明快ですので、
半嵌合等の事故を未然に防ぎます。
The new lock lever design secures a cable-to-cable connection
even it will be pulled through a jammed duct. When mated, a
very clear click-sound will be heard. It will prevent an accidental
half-mating.
多芯撚り線への確実な結線を可能にする Chisel Press Contact
新開発のChisel Press Contactは
3つの機能に分かれています。
チゼル部：基本的な接触構造はピ
アシングですが、電線との接触面
積を比較すると非常に広く、その
形 状は針というよりも“ の み ”と
いえます。
プレス部：チゼル部に常時電線に
残留応力を発生させるためのプ
レス部があります。
電線保持部：一般的にIDCタイプ
は電線 の保持力が非常に弱いと
されていますが、RITSでは引っ
張り強 度を 高 める機 能を 電 線 保
持部に設けています。

概要
作業が楽になったらコストも品質も向上しました。
FA機器の生産工程では、現場結線が多くみられます。現在は圧着コネ
クタが主流ですが、圧着技術は施工するための専用工具が必要であり、
また圧着するための熟練度も作業者に要求します。このことは施工時
間を膨大にするだけでなく、品質の非安定さをもたらしていました。
これら の 問 題 に 応 えるた め に 、R I T S（ R e m o t e I / O T e r m i n a l
System）Connectorsは開発されました。RITSは電線の施工方法が
簡単であるため、作業者のスキルを問わず効率の良い結線が可能です。
結果として、
トータル施工時間を短縮させコストリダクションと長期結
線信頼性を実現します。結線方法は非常に簡単で、電線をハウジング内
に装着しプライヤー等の汎用ツールで押し下げるだけです。専用工具
も用意していますが、これまでの圧着用のものと比べると管理項目が少
ないため経済的な価格でご提供できます。
Easier termination made the cost and the quality
better.
In the manufacturing process of FA equipment, electrical
connections by crimping in the assembly lines are commonly seen.
However, it often arises too much work time and causes insecure
quality level.
RITS（Remote I/O Terminal System）connectors offer easy
connection method as well as total cost reduction with higher
electrical relability without special skill to work.
The way to connect wire is quite easy: Insert cable to a housing and
pinch the housing by a generic tool such as pliers. Tyco Electronics
also provides special tool for RITS termination at more economical
price than crimp-type tool due to its simple function.

センサーからPLCまでの結線に関してはメーカーによって指定されて
いるコネクタが異なるため、エンドユーザーはその度にコネクタ及び圧
着ツールを用意しなければならない状況にありました。e-CONは、日
本で2001年にセンサーからターミナルへの結線の標準化を目的に規
格化されました。本規格は規格認定団体の管理下にはなく､国内有数
のFA機器メーカーが集まり規格化されたものです｡よりユーザーにや
さしい環境を提供するため､センサーとのインターフェイスが標準化さ
れ､ RITS Connectors 4Pはその委員会の中で標準コネクタとして
認定されました。 The standard of e-CON has been developed in Japan in 2001 in
order to standardize connections from sensors to terminals. This
standard is not under control of any standard organizations but
the group of Japanese FA manufacturers developed it. Without
the standard, each manufacturer specified different connectors
for terminations of sensors to PLCs and end users had to
prepare many different connectors and different tools. In order
to improve this situation and create userfriendly environment,
Tyco Electronics has offered RITS connectors as the standard
interface connector for sensors, and 4 Pos. RITS connectors is
approved as the industry standard connector now.
