EXERCISE 3: LET S DISCUSS!（表現）
Repeat after your tutor.（先生の後に続いて読んでみましょう。）
3 - A: I m checking my dictionary. （辞書を調べています。）
We use this expression when we want to CHECK a word we DO NOT UNDERSTAND.
（辞書で言葉を調べたい時や言葉がわからない時、この表現が使えます。）
3 - B: We can also say...（他にも、次のように言えます。）
A: Let me check my dictionary. （辞書で調べさせてください。）
B: Please let me check my dictionary.（辞書で調べさせてください。）
C: Can I please check my dictionary?（辞書を調べてもいいでしょうか？）
＊ You can also say Hold on please. to inform the other person to give you time to check your dictionary.
（辞書を調べる時間がほしい時、 Hold on please. と言ってみましょう。）
3 - C: How should I answer it?（どう答えるのでしょうか？）
You can say…（次のように言えます。）
"Okay, I will wait.
