Das von Grund auf neu konstruierte Rahmenset setzt neue Richtmaße in der
Kombination aus Gewicht, Design und Aerodynamik und punktet mit herausragenden Steifigkeitswerten. 790 g leicht und eine Hinterbaukonstruktion, die
zusammen mit der optionalen VCLS Post 2.0 Komfort und Seitensteifigkeit auf
ein neues Level hebt. Die Kombination aus steifem Press-Fit Tretlager, asymmetrischen Kettenstreben und verjüngtem Maximus Seat Tube garantiert maximale Fahrperformance. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die neue One One Four SLX.
Die Race-Gabel mit Carbon-Ausfallenden ist extrem seitensteif und fängt,
ebenso wie der neu konstruierte obere Sitzrohrbereich, dank VCLS Technologie

The completely redesigned frameset sets new standards in weight, design
and aerodynamics and scores high with its outstanding levels of stiffness. The
frame weighs in at just 790 g and has a rear triangle design which in combination with the optional VCLS Post 2.0 raises comfort and lateral stiffness to
completely new levels. In addition, the interplay between the stiff Press-Fit BB,
asymmetric chain stays and tapered Maximus Seattube guarantees optimum
ride performance. A further feature is the new One One Four SLX. The new
racing fork with carbon drop-outs boasts extremely high levels of lateral
stiffness, and thanks to VCLS technology, absorbs hard shocks and vibrations
just like the newly designed upper seat tube. This relieves considerable stress
on the rider’s body and conserves energy for the final sprint finish. Whether
mechanical, electronic or with the Ergospeed Comfort, in 2013 you can select

Die schlanken, hochovalisierten Rohrformen, das sanduhrförmige Steuerrohr und
der tief angesetzte Hinterbau charakterisieren das Fahrwerk schon auf den ersten
Blick. Ein Highlight ist die Aeroblade SL Carbongabel, die mit besten Seitensteifigkeitswerten und minimalem Gewicht überzeugt. Das Press-Fit Tretlagergehäuse bildet einen organisch geformten Übergang von Unterrohr und
Kettenstreben und garantiert dabei Steifigkeitswerte, die in der Klasse der
Aero-Rennräder für sich sprechen. Das konische Steuerrohr verringert die Stirnfläche und macht das Bike in Verbindung mit den innenverlegten Zügen noch windschnittiger. Du magst es lieber wendig oder bevorzugst den maximal möglichen
Geradeauslauf und ein spurtreues Rad – mit dem Rake Shift kannst Du das
Aeroad individuell auf Deine Vorlieben einstellen. Leicht, steif, komfortabel und
schnell: 2011 war das Aeroad CF das erfolgreichste Rad der Welt. In dieser Saison
schreibt das Aeroad CF seine Erfolgsstory als Teambike unseres WorldTour Teams
Katusha weiter fort und demonstrierte seine Stärken bereits mit Gesamt- und
Etappensiegen bei zahlreichen Klassikern wie la Flèche Wallone, Giro d`Italia und
der Vuelta a España.
The slim oval tubes, the hourglass shaped headtube and the lower rear triangle
characterize the aerodynamic chassis of the Aeroad CF at first glance. A highlight
is the Aeroblade SL carbon fork, which impresses with top stiffness levels and
minimal weight. The Press-Fit bottom bracket shell forms an organic transition
between the down tube and chain stays and guarantees levels of stiffness that
speak for themselves in the category of aero road bikes. The tapered headtube
reduces the frontal surface area and makes the bike even more streamlined
in combination with the internally routed cables. Do you like an agile bike or do
you prefer one that stays right on track on the straight and flat roads? With the
rake shift you can adjust the Aeroad CF to match your preferences. Light, stiff,
comfortable and fast: In 2011 the Aeroad CF was the most successful bike in the
world. This season the Aeroad CF is continuing with its success story as the team
bike of our World Tour team Katusha and demonstrated its strengths with overall
and stage victories in numerous classic races such as the Flèche Wallone, Giro
d`Italia and the Vuelta a España.

Equipped with the comfortable One One Eight CF carbon fork and the patented
Maximus Seattube, the Roadlite AL impresses with top stiffness and scintillating
forward power. The stiff fork guarantees smooth function and responds with
superb precision to commands from the cockpit. The well balanced frame
geometry with a short top tube and longer head tube makes the bike ideal for
long tours and training sessions. The super light asymmetric seat post clamp,
which was decorated with the iF product design award, allows the comfortable
27.2 mm thin seat post to be secured without damaging the material and at the
same time offers reliable protection from water and dirt. Whether you’re on a

neue Speedmax CF Maßstäbe in puncto Aerodynamik, Flexibilität und Systemintegration. Nach über 100 Strömungs- und Steifigkeitsanalysen sowie Tests
im Windkanal konnte sich das Trident-Profil als eindeutig beste Rohrform
gegenüber der für Flugkörper typischen Tropfenform durchsetzten. 20% höhere
Steifigkeit, 8% weniger Frontfläche und bis zu 25% geringere Anfälligkeit für
Seitenwind sind eindeutige Argumente. In Gabel und Streben integrierte Bremsen
nehmen dem Wind auch die letzte Angriffsfläche. Das hauseigene Canyon
Cockpit bietet dank unterschiedlichster Kombinationsmöglichkeiten von Vorbau,
Basislenker, Extensions und Spacern volle Flexibilität für Triathleten und Zeitfahrspezialisten gleichermaßen. Außerdem erlaubt es eine fast vollständige
Integration der Leitungen von Bremsen und elektronischer Schaltungen. Neben
ersten Rennerfolgen wurde das Speedmax CF bereits 2012 mit dem red dot
design award best of the best ausgezeichnet.
As the most elaborate development project in the history of the company, the
Canyon Speedmax CF sets benchmarks in aerodynamics, flexibility, and system
integration. After more than 100 air-flow and stiffness analyses as well as tests
in the wind tunnel, the Trident-Profile was able to establish itself as the best
tube design ahead of the tear drop design typically used in aviation. 20%
greater stiffness, 8% less frontal surface area and up to 25% less susceptibility
to cross winds are significant arguments favouring this tube design. Brakes
integrated into the fork and chain stays reduced the contact surface for the
wind even further. The cockpit that’s unique to Canyon offers triathletes and
time-trial specialists alike total flexibility thanks to the huge number of combinations of stem, handlebar, extensions and spacers that are possible. In
addition, the bike permits an almost complete integration of the cables for
the brakes and electronic shift system. Alongside the first successes in competition in 2012, the Speedmax CF has already received the red dot design
award best of the best.

great bike. The wide fork blades direct the air-flow over the entire system and
