Remarks The referred and related standards to this JEITA standard are as follows. EIAJ RC-5320A Plugs and jacks for coupling an external low voltage power supply (Unified polarity type) EIAJ RC-5321 Jacks for low voltage d.c. power supply output and mating plugs EIAJ RC-5322 Plugs and jacks for coupling DC 12/24 V power supply to electronic equipment lused in a car JEITA CP-1104A Terms and graphical symbols for audio and audio-visual equipment Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law Technical Requirements Appendix 8 Section 2 Chapter 102. D.C. Power Supply Units 2 Designations on the equipment using a d.c. power supply input terminal (jack - DC IN) and the equipment using a plug to be connected to the foregoing equipment, or the plug-attached cords Designations shall be marked using an indelible method. 2.1 D.c. power supply input terminal for the general-purpose equipment To be applied to equipment or d.c. power supply units (a.c. power adaptor, d.c./d.c. converter, etc.) featuring the plugs and jacks specified in EIAJ RC-5320A. 2.1.1 Designations on the d.c. power supply units A d.c. power supply units using the plug specified in EIAJ RC-5320A shall be marked with the following items. (1) Polarity designation - The symbol indicating polarity shall be as specified in clause 4. (2) Model name (1) and type reference or model number of d.c. power supply units (3) Other necessary items Note (1) For model name of d.c. power supply units, refer to Explanation 3.2 (2) Model name and type reference or model number of d.c. power supply units. 2.1.2 Designations on the equipment Equipment using the jack specified in EIAJ RC-5320A shall be marked with the following items either near the jack or in the equipment's instruction manuals. (1) Polarity designation The symbol indicating polarity shall be as specified in clause 4. Remark This symbol shall be marked as close to the jack as possible. (2) Model name and type reference or model number of the specified d.c. power supply units. (3) Other necessary items 2 JEITA ET-2502A 電子情報技術産業協会規格 DC プラグ・ジャックを用いる機器に関する 表示事項及び表示方法 Designation items and methods for equipment using low voltage d.c. power supply plugs and jacks 1 適用範囲 この規格は,EIAJ RC-5320A,EIAJ RC-5321 及び EIAJ RC-5322 に定める DC プラグ・ジャックを用い る電子機器(以下,機器という。),直流電源装置,プラグ付きコードの表示事項及び表示方法について規 定する。 備考 この規格の引用規格及び関連規格を次に示す。 2 EIAJ RC-5320A 外部電源プラグ・ジャック(直流低電圧用・極性統一形) EIAJ RC-5321 直流低電圧電源出力用ジャックと対応プラグ EIAJ RC-5322 車載機器用直流 12/24 V 共用形外部電源プラグ・ジャック JEITA CP-1104A AV 機器の表示用語及び図記号 電気用品安全法 技術基準別表第八 2 の(102)直流電源装置 DC 入力端子(ジャック…DC IN)を用いる機器及びこれに接続するプラグを用いる機器,又はプラグ 付きコードへの表示 表示は,容易に消えない方法で表示する。 2.1 一般機器用 DC 入力端子 EIAJ RC-5320A に定めるプラグ・ジャックを用いる機器,直流電源装置(AC アダプタ,DC アダプタ) などに適用する。 2.1.1 直流電源装置への表示 EIAJ RC-5320A に定めるプラグを用いる直流電源装置には,次に示す事項を表示する。 (1) 極性表示 極性を表す図記号は,第 4 項による。 (2) (3) 注 直流電源装置の機種名(名称)(1) と,形名又は品番 その他の必要事項 (1) 直流電源装置の機種名(名称)については,解説 3.2 項 (2) 直流電源装置の機種名(名称)と形名 又は品番を参照。 2.1.2 機器への表示 EIAJ RC-5320A に定めるジャックを用いる機器には,次に示す事項をジャックの近傍又は機器の取扱 説明書のいずれかに表示する。 (1) 極性表示 極性を表す図記号は,第 4 項による。 備考 この図記号は極力ジャックの近傍に表示する。 (2) 指定する直流電源装置の機種名(名称)と,形名又は品番 (3) その他の必要事項 3 JEITA ET-2502A 2.1.3 Designation in the instruction manuals or the technical guide for a d.c. power supply units When a particular piece of equipment carries specifications with respect to performance and safety, the sentence containing the information shown below shall be marked. Please use this product (with JEITA standard unified polarity type plug) only for the specified equipment. Do not under any circumstances connect it to other equipment. Breakdown may result. 2.1.4 Designation in the instruction manuals or the technical guide for equipment When a particular piece of equipment carries specifications with respect to performance and safety, the sentence containing the information shown below shall be marked. Use the enclosed a.c. power adaptor (with JEITA standard unified polarity type plug) for this product. Use of an a.c. power adaptor other than that enclosed may cause a breakdown. Remark 1 “a.c. power adaptor” is an example of a model name. Remark 2 The type reference or model number of the a.c. power adaptor may be added as required. 2.2 D.c. power supply input terminal for on-vehicle equipment To be applied to equipment which operates correctly under 12 V and 24 V d.c. power supply as input voltage and with a plug-attached cord or jack specified in EIAJ RC-5322. 2.2.1 Designations on the plug-attached cord A plug-attached cord specified in EIAJ RC-5322 shall be marked with the following items either on the cord or in the instruction manuals for the cord. (1) Polarity designation The symbol indicating polarity shall be as specified in clause 4. (2) Model name, type reference or model number of the specified equipment to be connected (3) Rated voltage (12/24 V) (4) Rated current or rated power (5) Other necessary items 2.2.2 Designations on the equipment Each piece of equipment using the jack specified in EIAJ RC-5322 shall be marked with the following items either near the jack or in the equipment’s instruction manuals. (1) Polarity designation The symbol indicating polarity shall be as specified in clause 4. Remark This symbol shall be marked as close to the jack as possible. (2) Rated voltage (12/24 V) (3) Model name, type reference or model number of the plug-attached cord specified in EIAJ RC-5322. (4) Other necessary items 4 JEITA ET-2502A 2.1.3 直流電源装置の取扱説明書・テクニカルガイド等への表示 機器の性能及び安全の面から使用する機器を指定する場合は,次に示す主旨の文章を表示する。 本製品(JEITA 規格・極性統一形プラグ付き)は,指定の機器にのみご使用ください。 他の機器への接続は絶対に行わないでください。 故障の原因となります。 2.1.4 機器の取扱説明書・テクニカルガイド等への表示 機器の性能及び安全の面から使用する直流電源装置を指定する場合は,次に示す主旨の文章を表示する。 この製品には,付属の AC アダプタ(JEITA 規格・極性統一形プラグ付き)を ご使用ください。 付属以外の AC アダプタを使用すると故障の原因になることがあります。 2.2 備考 1 「AC アダプタ」は機種名(名称)の一例を示す。 備考 2 必要に応じ AC アダプタの形名又は品番を付与してもよい。 車載機器用 DC 入力端子 入力電圧が 12 V 及び 24 V の両方の直流電源を受けて正常に動作し,EIAJ RC-5322 に定めるプラグを 用いるコード,ジャックを用いる機器などに適用する。 2.2.1 プラグ付きコードへの表示 EIAJ RC-5322 に定めるプラグを用いるコードには,次に示す事項をコード又はコードの取扱説明書の いずれかに表示する。 (1) 極性表示 極性を表す図記号は,第 4 項による。 (2) 指定する接続相手機器の機種名(名称) ,形名,品番のいずれかの表示 (3) 定格電圧(12/24 V) (4) 定格電流又は定格電力 (5) その他の必要事項 2.2.2 機器への表示 EIAJ RC-5322 に定めるジャックを用いる機器には,次に示す事項をジャックの近傍又は機器の取扱説 明書のいずれかに表示する。 (1) 極性表示 極性を表す図記号は,第 4 項による。 備考 この図記号は極力ジャックの近傍に表示する。 (2) 定格電圧(12/24 V) (3) EIAJ RC-5322 に定めるプラグを用いるコードの機種名(名称),形名,品番のいずれかの表示 (4) その他の必要事項 5 JEITA ET-2502A 3 Designations on the equipment using a d.c. power supply output terminal (jack - DC OUT) and the equipment using a plug to be connected to the foregoing equipment, or the plug-attached cords Designations shall be marked using an indelible method. 3.1 Designations on the d.c. power supply output terminal (jack) To be applied to the equipment or d.c. power supply units, etc. using the jack specified in EIAJ RC-5321; the following items shall be marked either near the jack or in the equipment’s instruction manuals. Breakdown may result. 6 JEITA ET-2502A 3 DC 出力端子(ジャック…DC OUT)を用いる機器及びこれに接続するプラグを用いる機器,又はプラ グ付きコードへの表示 表示は,容易に消えない方法で表示する。 3.1 DC 出力端子(ジャック)への表示 EIAJ RC-5321 に定めるジャックを用いる機器,直流電源装置などに適用し,次に示す事項をジャックの 近傍又は機器の取扱説明書のいずれかに表示する。 (1) 極性表示 極性を表す図記号は,第 4 項による。 備考 (2) この図記号は極力ジャックの近傍に表示する。 指定する接続相手機器の機種名(名称) ,形名,品番,直流電源出力呼称(例えば,DC OUT)のいず れかの表示 (3) 3.1.1 その他の必要事項 直流電源装置の取扱説明書・テクニカルガイド等への表示 機器の性能及び安全の面から使用する機器を指定する場合は,次に示す主旨の文章を表示する。 本製品(JEITA 規格・極性統一形端子)は,指定の機器にのみご使用ください。 他の機器への接続は絶対に行わないでください。 故障の原因となります。 3.1.2 機器の取扱説明書・テクニカルガイド等への表示 機器の性能及び安全の面から使用する機器を指定する場合は,次に示す主旨の文章を表示する。 本製品(JEITA 規格・極性統一形端子)は,指定の機器にのみご使用ください。 他の機器への接続は絶対に行わないでください。 故障の原因となります。 7 JEITA ET-2502A 3.2 Designations on the equipment with a plug-attached cord or the plug-attached cord that mates with the d.c. power supply output terminal To be applied to the equipment with a plug-attached cord or the plug-attached cord, etc. as specified in EIAJ RC-5321. 3.2.1 Designation on the equipment with a plug-attached cord The items shall be marked on the equipment with a plug-attached cord specified in EIAJ RC-5321. (1) Polarity designation The symbol indicating polarity shall be as specified in clause 4. (2) Model name, type reference or model number of the d.c. power supply units specified for connection (3) Other necessary items 3.2.2 Designations on the plug-attached cord A plug-attached cord specified in EIAJ RC-5321 shall be marked with the following items either on the cord or in the instruction manuals for the cord. (1) Polarity designation The symbol indicating polarity shall be as specified in clause 4. (2) Rated voltage (3) Rated current (4) Other necessary items 4 Symbol indicating polarity The following symbol specified in JEITA CP-1104A shall be used. 8 JEITA ET-2502A 3.2 DC 出力端子に嵌合するプラグ付きコードを具備する機器又はプラグ付きコードへの表示 EIAJ RC-5321 に定めるプラグ付きコードを具備する機器及びプラグ付きコードなどに適用する。 3.2.1 プラグ付きコードを具備する機器への表示 EIAJ RC-5321 に定めるプラグ付きコードを具備する機器には,次に示す事項を表示する。 (1) 極性表示 極性を表す図記号は,第 4 項による。 (2) 接続指定する直流電源装置の機種名(名称),形名,品番のいずれかの表示 (3) その他の必要事項 3.2.2 プラグ付きコードへの表示 EIAJ RC-5321 に定めるプラグ付きコードには,次に示す事項をコード又はコードの取扱説明書のいず れかに表示する。 (1) 極性表示 極性を表す図記号は,第 4 項による。 (2) 定格電圧 (3) 定格電流 (4) その他の必要事項 4 極性を表す図記号 JEITA CP-1104A に定める次の図記号を用いる。 図記号の使用は極性統一形に限る 9 JEITA ET-2502A Reference To help understand the applications of this standard, some application examples of the d.c. power supply plugs and jacks specified in EIAJ RC-5320A, EIAJ RC-5321, and EIAJ RC-5322 are shown below.
