Mizuuchi (Professor) Osaka City University There has been some truth to the idea that the engines of a city’s growth are flourishing economic activity and economic promotion by the city government. At the same time, a social safety net that is abundantly provided by the city government and the community has kept building cities that are livable. Entering the 21st century, there is no prospect for further economic growth and it has become obvious that the safety net is dysfunctional. This can be most starkly seen in Osaka. In the opening session that adorns the beginning of this symposium, using Osaka, which has encountered the age of difficult urban management the fastest, as a stage, we would like to introduce a new proposal for creative city-building and urban regeneration in the cases of New York, Singapore, and Tokyo. The creative industry, which does not necessarily demonstrate economic effects nor have a solid foundation based on regular full-time employment, appeared spontaneously in New York. In Singapore it fell outside the planning of the city government. Under the tradition of strong government leadership in city building in Singapore, it is necessary to respond flexibly to creative management or to back it up in the manner of a prompter on the stage. For that reason as well, there must be a tolerant, relaxed, and open activity space incorporated somewhere into the city, and an inclusive space has to be provided somewhere, as is shown in the case of Tokyo. Such an experiment is not impossible in Osaka, and would it not be a contribution to new urban values? セッション 1 文化創造と社会包摂による都市の再興を語る ファシリテーター：水内 俊雄（教授） 大阪市立大学 都市の成長の牽引車は旺盛な経済活動であり、都市政府の経済振興であることは一面の真実であり続けて いた。と同時に、社会のセイフティネットを、都市政府やコミュニティが豊かに提供することにより、住み よい都市をつくり続けてきたことも事実である。 21 世紀に入り、経済成長が見込めなくなり、セイフティネットの機能不全が明らかになってきた。その ことは、大阪にもっとも顕著にみられている。本シンポジウムの冒頭を飾るオープニングセッションでは、 こうした困難な都市経営の時代にもっともはやく遭遇している大阪を舞台に、もうひとつの創造的な都市づ くり、都市再生の提案を、ニューヨーク、シンガポール、東京を事例に、披露していただく。 必ずしも経済的効果を発揮したり正規雇用にもとづく定型の基盤をもたない、創造的な産業は、ニュー ヨークでは自然発生的であった。シンガポールでは、都市政府のプランニングの外にあった。強い行政主導 の都市づくりの伝統のもと、創造的な営みに柔軟に応じていく、あるいは黒子のようにバックアップしてゆ く必要があろう。そのためにも東京の事例で示されるような、寛容でゆるやかにオープンな活動空間を都市 のどこかに組み込んでゆく、包摂型の空間がどこかに用意されなければならない。その試みは大阪でも不可 能ではないし、それが新たな都市の価値の付与となるのではなかろうか？ Session 1 10 Session 1-1 Public Art: Tracing the Life Cycle of New York’s Creative Districts Sharon Zukin (Professor) The City University of New York In contrast to other cities of the world, New York’s creative districts do not reflect explicit governmental strategies either to aid artists or to encourage cultural production. To some extent they do respond to macroeconomic conditions and policies, but more important, they are “naturally occurring” creative districts that respond to the ebb and flow of private capital investment in manufacturing and real estate. What appears to be a spontaneous or even an anarchic process, however, reveals repeated regularities: an absence of capital investment and state intervention, a groundswell of positive attention by the media, and a commercial mobilization of deviant aesthetic tastes. These conditions have shaped the successive development of New York’s creative districts from Greenwich Village, in Lower Manhattan, in the late 1800s to SoHo (in the 1970s), the East Village (1980s), Williamsburg (1990s), and Bushwick today. The path from derelict or undervalued district with working class, and often “ethnic” residents, features low-rent industrial spaces, gritty streets, and an intangible “character” that artists integrate into their own aesthetic practices. Along the way, however, cultural producers change this local character by establishing new retail businesses (cafés, restaurants, stores) that cater to their aesthetic practices and the social networks that develop around them. The result, as shown by the successive migrations from SoHo to Bushwick, is to signal that each area is “ripe” for investment. Promoted by the media and unprotected by public policies, New York’s creative districts set a well-known pattern of gentrification which, paradoxically, makes it difficult to sustain the area’s creativity. These creative workers do not belong to the traditional employment set-up organized around firms, but instead, move from portfolio to portfolio, assignment to assignment, interspersing jobs with corporations with periods of self employment. Their work offers freedom, independence and creative space, but has also been characterized as precarious, because the securities of old working patterns no longer hold. While governments in many countries and cities have become attracted to the potential of the creative economy, those that have a strong tradition of economic planning, such as Singapore, will also have to come to grips with a new creative economy in which there exists a great deal more amorphousness and a hidden ecology. This paper will examine how the growth of “precarious labour” entails three shifts that the Singapore government is attempting to make in the face of a more “precarious economy”: new methods in mapping and measurement, new directions in education and training; and new experiments in social and economic organization. セッション 1-2 クリエイティブ経済における不安定性 シンガポールにおける経済計画に対しての含意 リリー・コン（教授） シンガポール国立大学 先進国経済におけるクリエイティブ経済の成長は、 「隠れていた」非従属的就業者やフリーランサーが 其所彼処で重要な役割を担っていると認識させるようになった。 これらのクリエイティブワーカーは、企業を中心とした従来的な雇用システムに属さず、むしろ職場 や職務を転々とし、企業で仕事をする時期もあれば、独立して自営している時期もあるのである。彼ら の仕事の形態は彼ら自身に自由と独立性と創造的な空間を与えるが、雇用に関しては、不安定であると 見なされてきた。なぜ不安定と見なされていたのか、それは従来的な雇用形態が与えていた保障が彼ら には与えられなかったからである。多くの国・都市の行政が、クリエイティブ経済の可能性に魅了され る時代だからこそ、シンガポールのような経済計画システムの根強い伝統をもっているところでは、よ り自由度が高く、潜在的生態系をもった新しいクリエイティブ経済を内に取り込む必要がある。 本論文は、 「不安定雇用」のかような成長を背景とした「不安定経済」に対する試みとして、新しい都 市経済計画の新たな測定法、教育と訓練に対する新たな方針、社会及び経済機構における新たな取り組 み、という３つの変革をどのようにシンガポール政府にもたらしたかを例示する。 12 Session 1-3 Power and Openness: Appropriating City Space for Re-creating “the Urban” Takashi Machimura (Professor) Hitotsubashi University When urbanization was viewed as a form of modernization, city space was considered unique because it represented a tangible manifestation of modernity. However, as the basis of economic competitiveness in the city has shifted from how much (physical) “space” people own to how fast they communicate each other, that is, “speed,” a symbolic meaning that the city seems to have changed drastically. The city space is now beginning to represent not swiftness but inertia in people’s attitude toward change, compared with the developments in cyberspace. Yet, from my point of view, such materiality or physical nature contains an important clue for understanding the current state of urban reality, particularly, the significance of the city itself. How is it possible to keep such slow or inert cities open to diversified actors and changing events? In order to answer this question, this paper investigates the historical developments of open spaces in urban settings, by studying the case of Yoyogi Park in central Tokyo. Attempts to protect open urban spaces are always accompanied by conflicts among actors who have different ideas for using such spaces. Its importance is primarily about the work of arts of course, but it also is about social cohesion and economic contribution to a given society. While market surveys were conducted since the sixties, academic research is a relative new field when compared to older discipline like economics, mathematics or philosophy. Before 1980, very few works were published by academics in management or marketing of the arts and culture. This being said, economists already had their research Conference in the late seventies and there were economists that tried to understand the market dynamics of the fine arts (painting, sculpture). The first articles published by academics in marketing or management appeared only in the eighties though. Since then, a research Conference is held every second year since 1991 (AIMAC), this Conference was founded by professor François Colbert from HEC Montréal as well as the ‘International Journal of Arts Management’, the major publication in the sector of arts management. Now the field is growing fast, more and more papers are published. This is a healthy sign since the arts and culture sector faces an oversupply of works of art, oversupply that is challenging public bodies that are trying to help artists. On the positive side though, this proliferation of works of art is presenting to the consumer more that he or she could attend or buy in any given year. The availability of digital information has encouraged new ways to summarize these processes and precise ways to measure the impact of academic ideas. Using the tools of bibliometrics, available via powerful informational databases, we can look at the formation of a field or discipline over time, from its origins to the present. We can also analyze the ways in which concepts evolve and which authors, which research institutes or university departments, and which journals have a place of influence within a field. Bibliometrics permit us to identify the commonalities within a field [who speaks to whom] and the disconnections between those using different methodologies or different languages. This paper draws on the information within the Scopus database to illustrate these arguments, indicating the different streams of information that are now coalescing in the field of urban creativity. About twenty years ago, what goes on in mainland China hardly contributed to academic debates on cities, and now, the China factor is becoming increasingly influential in urban studies. Nevertheless, debates on the nature and direction of changes in urban China tend to be confined within ‘China studies’ without making connection with what goes on outside China. The speed of urban change also posits challenges to urban researchers who struggle with ‘fact-finding’ missions. In this regard, the paper re-visits the current status of urban studies in relation to contemporary urban transformation in mainland China and identifies gaps in the literature in order to put forward research agenda for the next generation of urban scholars with interests in mainland China as well as East Asia as a whole. Creative cities, creative class, and creative industries are the fashionable keywords in urban studies in the present century. Interactions between urbanization and creativity, however, have not always reflected positive tendencies. In this session, after a close examination on creative industries in advanced countries, urban creativity and changing economic base are discussed. It is difficult to provide a brief definition of the city. The Urban Research Plaza at Osaka City University adopts the notion that the city is a site of agglomeration and communication. Locational agglomeration generates benefits for efficiency, creativity and innovation. Cities have always played an important role as centers of economic and cultural activities. Cities in advanced countries have played the role of regional motors of the global economy. Agglomeration economies linked particularly with the manufacturing industry have thus generated large industrial metropolises. The creative industry is expected to be the new growth engine. A critical assessment of the agglomeration economies of the industry would provide new insights for urban environments. セッション 3 都市の創造性を再考する コーディネーター：長尾 謙吉（教授） 大阪市立大学 創造性は学界においても政策の世界においても強い関心をもたれるようになった。創造都市、創造階級、 創造産業は、今世紀に入っての都市研究のキーワードとなっている。しかしながら、都市形成と創造性は好 ましい傾向だけをもたらしてきたわけではない。このセッションでは、先進諸国の創造産業に関する検討を 通して、都市の創造性と経済基盤について議論したい。 都市を簡潔に定義することは難しい。都市研究プラザでは、「都市は集積とコミュニケーションの場」と いう文章を活用している。立地にみられる集積は、経済活動の効率性、創造性や革新的なことをうみ出して きた。都市は、経済活動と文化活動において中心として特別や役割を担ってきた。 先進諸国の都市は、グローバル経済の地域的な牽引力となってきた。とりわけ製造業と結びついた集積の 経済は、産業活動が盛んな大都市圏をうみ出してきた。創造産業は、新しいエンジンとして期待されている。 創造産業における集積の経済の真摯な検討は、都市環境にとって新たな視点を提示するであろう。 Session 3 22 Session 3-1 Creative Cities: Enabling the Practices of Urban Creativity Andy C Pratt (Professor) King’s College, University of London The aim of this paper is to look at the nature of urban forms and practices that would facilitate creativity and innovation in an inclusive manner. The overriding idea is that we should strive to re-make cities around how people actually are, rather than how we expect them to be. The paper is in three parts: the first reviews the current modalities of cultural work (as representative of the leading edge of change), its sociality, inclusions and exclusions. It raises the challenge that cities should actually reflect and facilitate new modalities so that creative work does not work against ‘the grain’ of the city; rather that the city could offer an enabling environment (social and physical). The second part explores a number of dimensions of re-thinking cities based around a series of challenges of creative practices (as characterised by those found in the cultural work): reputation and face -to -face knowledge creation, trans-localism, networked suburbs and hot-desk cities, governance via intermediaries, and the permeability of the formal and informal. The final section reflects upon the challenges and opportunities of such a re-imagining. セッション 3-1 創造都市―都市の創造性にあふれた実践を可能にする アンディ・プラット（教授） ロンドン大学キングスカレッジ 本報告の目的は、包摂的手法で創造性とイノベーションを促進する都市の形態と実践の性質について 考察することである。もっとも重要な考えは以下の通りである。それは、どのようにして人々にそうあ るように期待するのか、というよりも、人々がどのようなかたちで、現在のところそうであるのか、と いう姿勢に基づいて、都市を再創出する努力をするべきだ、というものである。本報告は３つのパート から構成される。１つ目のパートでは、文化に関わる仕事（変化の最先端を代表するものとして）と、そ の社会創出力、包摂と排除の現在の様式を検討する。それは、都市自体が数々の新しい様式を示し、促 進するべきであるという挑戦を引き起こすものである。なぜなら、クリエイティブな仕事とは、都市の 「木目」に逆らって行われているのではなく、むしろ都市そのものがそれを可能とするような（社会的・ 物質的）環境を提供しうるからに他ならない。２つ目のパートでは、様々なクリエイティブな実践（文 化に関する仕事のなかに見いだされる実践によって特徴づけられる）によってなされる一連の挑戦を基 盤に据えたかたちで都市を再考している多くの側面を探究する。それは、信用と対面による知の創造、ト ランス・ローカリズム、ネットワーク化された郊外、そして事務所でデスクを共用しているような関係 にある数々の都市、さらには媒介を通じたガバナンス、またフォーマルとインフォーマルの間の浸透性 といったことである。最終パートでは、このような再イメージ化の挑戦とそれがもたらす好機について 省察する。 23 Session 3-2 Rethinking Urban Creativity: Lessons Learned from Barcelona and Montréal. Patrick Cohendet (Professor) HEC Montréal In this contribution, we argue that creativity in a city supposes that new knowledge and innovative ideas can transit permanently through three layers: the underground, the middleground and the upperground (Cohendet, Grandadam, Simon, 2010). The underground is constituted by creative individuals (artists, other knowledge workers, who are individuals not immediately linked to the commercial and industrial world and whose culture lies outside the corporate logic of standardization). The upperground is the level of formal institutions such as creative or cultural firms or institutions, whose specific role is to bring creative ideas to the market (Howkins, 2001; Hartley, 2005). In between the upperground and the underground, we suggest that a key role is played in the creative city by the middleground, which is the level where the work of collectives and communities is decisive in designing the grammars of use and other common platforms of knowledge necessary for the knowledge transmission and learning that precedes innovation in those geographically bounded innovative environments. We argue that successful creative areas in cities, are loci where the middleground plays a key role for the city as a key element of cultural creativity and social inclusion. On the opposite when the middleground has not yet formed, or has been neglected, there are major obstacles to the emergence of creativity. Ablative laser systems are able to clean and protect inestimable works of art that have been subject to atmospheric agents and degradation over time. This new technology, in development over the last forty years, is now available to restorers and has been successful throughout Europe. This important contribution to laser innovation has been carried out in Florence by local actors belonging to a creative cluster. Our analysis explores the genesis of this innovation in this local Florentine context and the relationships among the main actors who have contributed to it. Our study investigates how culture can play a role in the generation of ideas and innovation and considers the creative environments that can favor them. In this context, we discuss the use of laser technologies in the restoration of cultural heritage by examining techniques developed by the Creative Capacity of the Culture (CCC) as a case study. The paper is arranged as follows. After our introduction, Section 2 details the main characteristics of the products of the creative capacity of culture. The research scheme and the methodology of our investigation comprise the object of Section 3. Section 4 examines the history of laser innovation, from its genesis to its international diffusion, with a focus on the Italian and Florentine experiences. In Section 5, we analyze the creative cluster of restorative laser technologies used during a series of research projects financed by the Tuscany Region; we also explore the relationships among the creative actors involved, with the help of the Social Network Analysis. However, most researches have underestimated the nature and importance of uncertainty in the cultural industry. In addition, it is “creative” innovation, not “efficient” one achieved by imitation, that increases commercial value of cultural products; therefore the “learning” concept, which considers the diffusion of “best practice” as agglomeration economies, is an inappropriate method of analysis. Using reflexive consumption as a key assumption, we argue that a theory of cultural industrial agglomeration must account for the tolerance for redundancy and “knowledge-verification” costs that are required at the interface of production and consumption. For firms in information-dominant cultural industries to remain viable and creative, the tolerance for inevitable “inefficiency” of products is essential for creative products to emerge, and that an agglomeration may provide a means to absorb and spread the costs of knowledge-verification, which may be unbearable by individual firms in the short-run. This presentation provides two case studies of Japanese cultural industries, home videogame and television program production, to illustrate our theoretical propositions. The case studies indicate that the "traditional" benefits of agglomeration, such as efficient transactions and trust-building, are not absent. To begin with, in the first half there will be 10-minute presentations from each of the sub-centers, and a number of topics emerging from those will included in the discussion, and then we will produce a session recommendation concerning this network’s prospects and the contributions that it can make in the future. Each of the sub-centers began under different circumstances and have different backgrounds, and they are not based on a single consistent policy, but that is not seen as a minus, rather the variety of resources is seen as a plus. How could the issues of, for example, Hong Kong (homelessness and other forms of social exclusion) be pressed into the same mold to match those Bangkok (energizing the city through the arts)? What kinds of strategies can the subcenters employ in ringing a warning bell against globalization that has gone too far, and in building a new framework for urban renewal? The UCRC has hosted eight successful international forums covering a diverse range of topics involving facets of urban culture. In addition, the UCRC delivers a program of scholarly exchange between Japan’s Osaka City University and Thailand’s Chulalongkorn University. This program has included an exchange of musical culture that brought Thai graduate student performers to Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara. The strength of the scholarly ties between Thailand and Japan were reflected in the joint publication of the five volumes of the ‘Urban Culture Research Journal’ comprising pieces authored by scholars from both institutions. Additionally, a new peer-reviewed journal with a global focus, the ‘Journal of Urban Culture Research’, will be published in late 2010. In the UCRC’s eighth Forum, doctoral students from both universities gained direct experience in making scholarly presentations to an international audience. Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts hopes to continue its academic relationship with Japan so that the current generation of Thai scholars shall not only be more aware, understanding, and appreciative of their own culture but shall extend the same awareness, understanding, and appreciation to other cultures throughout the world. Despite their efforts to improve their lives, urban citizens gain only limited access, if any, to the rights and public services enjoyed by those in metropolitan cities. This political and economic distance from the center and the sense of isolation it produces have spurred urban residents to formulate compensatory strategies, including initiatives to promote welfare and other community-based issues. In so doing, residents in marginalized neighborhoods seek to narrow the distance between themselves and the state by creating and participating in techniques that could better their unfortunate circumstances and get their concerns heard. People have engaged in local cross-class alliances based on personal relationships and local intimacy, as is typically found in Indonesian urban neighborhoods, with all their heterogeneity. This paper highlights the potential arena for contestation in order to demonstrate the nature of residents’ political entrepreneurship as they rally for solidarity within a town-based social network despite their hardships. セッション 4-2 インクルージョンへの闘争：都市周縁部の居住者と市民権 ニコラス・ワーロウ（講師） ガジャ・マダ大学 地方都市周縁部の居住者には、政府が供給する福祉へのアクセスが難しく、市民としての権利が十分 に享受できない。彼ら自身の生活改善への努力にもかかわらず、彼ら都市住民は、それがたとえあると しても、大都市住民が享受しているような公共サービスへのアクセスは限られている。この中央からの 政治的・経済的距離と分離感は、都市住民が福祉や他のコミュニティを基盤とした問題へ取り組むイニ シアチブとなり、その代償となるストラテジーを作り上げることへと駆り立てている。そうして、周縁 部住民は、恵まれない状態を改善し、彼らの懸念を伝える方法を作り出し、参加することによって、彼 ら自身と政府の距離を縮めようとしているのである。人々は、インドネシア都市住民間で一般的にみら れるような、異種混交の個人的関係や地元住民同士の親密さをベースとした、階級を超えたローカルな 関係を作っている。本論は、困難な状況にもかかわらず、タウンベースの社会ネットワークの結束をか ためる、住民の政治的事業家としてのあり方に焦点を当てる。 30 Session 4-3 Help Systems of Housing / Residence Life in Shanghai: Our Survey and Ideas Ying-Fang Chen (Professor) East China Normal University Using ethnographic research on the residential lives of poor urban immigrants and the providers of cheap rental housing and shelters in Shanghai, this study offers observations on and analyses of the residential lives of people who cannot afford to use the formal housing rental markets or obtain essential support from local government. Focusing on their methods of acquiring shelter and the mechanisms of the informal/illegal housing rental market, we seek to understand the logic of the state-market-society relationships and appeal for social rescue on behalf of the homeless to NGO/NPO in China. Our paper should also lead to a discussion about societal possibility: through our observations on residential support networks for the urban poor, we seek to find an existing system of social solidarity and morality in today’s urban China. セッション 4-3 上海における住生活支援制度：調査と見解 チェン・インファン（教授） 華東師範大学 本研究は、上海の貧しい都市移住者の住生活と、低家賃住宅やシェルターの供給主体についてエスノ グラフィー調査を利用することで、正規の賃貸住宅市場を利用できない人たちや、自治体から必要不可 欠な支援を受けられない人たちの住生活を明らかにする。この調査では、貧しい都市移住者がシェルター に入居する手段、そしてインフォーマルかつ不法な賃貸住宅市場のメカニズムに焦点をあてることで、中 国での国－市場－社会の関係性の論理構造を把握し、ホームレスのための社会的救済策を NGO や NPO に要請する。また、本研究は、社会の可能性についても議論を展開していく。すなわち、都市貧困層の ための居住支援ネットワークを調査することを通じて、今日の中国都市部には社会的連帯や道徳システ ムがあることを見出そうとするものである。 31 Session 4-4 Networking within Asian Urban Studies: An Inside-out Perspective Wing-Shing Tang (Professor) Hong Kong Baptist University There are at least two related perspectives on pursuing and networking within Asian urban studies. One is the usual approach: area studies. The other can be called the “Western approach,” for lack of a better term. The former usually highlights an in-depth knowledge of particular places and the elements of their distinctiveness. Networking premised on area studies connects the areas being researched on equal terms in order to elaborate their pros and cons. The latter perspective usually takes the West as the origin of development and assumes that Asian countries are empirical objects of the theories developed there. Networking is thus dispatched from the center to the peripheries, which usually have a minimal, subsidiary role in the network. Examples of both processes are abundant in the short history of urban studies: an example of the former is the call for ordinary city-based analyses driven by post-colonial studies; an example of the latter is the search for the “world city(s)” of each nation. I argue that neither perspective is fruitful for understanding Asian cities, with their unique pasts, and that they both hinder any substantive, meaningful networking. Instead, I propose an inside-out perspective that takes into account the distinct historical dynamics of Asian countries and provides codetermined observations among the multiple dynamics of these countries as well as those between Asia and the West (Tang and Mizuoka, 2010). It is these processes of development, linking Asian cities together, that should be the crux of networking. I elaborate this argument by investigating Hong Kong’s urban development over time and across space in order to assert that we can neither understand Hong Kong in the straitjacket of Western concepts nor treat it as unique. Hong Kong is neither a world city nor an ordinary city, but something produced in the co-determination between the East and the West and between China and rural society. セッション 4-4 アジア都市研究におけるネットワーク構築： インサイドアウト（裏表）パースペクティブの提示 タン・ウィシン（教授） 香港浸会大学 アジアの都市研究における探求やネットワーク構築には、少なくとも二つの関連するパースペクティブ が存在する。一つは一般的なアプローチである地域研究、もう一つは、よい表現はないが、いわゆる「ウ エスタン・アプローチ」と呼ばれるものである。前者は通常、特定の場所に関する知識やそれらの独自性 の要素を強調する。地域研究に基づいたネットワークの構築は、良い点と悪い点を詳しく説明するために、 研究対象地域をそれぞれ同じ条件とする。後者のパースペクティブは西洋を発展の起源として解釈し、ア ジアの国々を西洋で発展した理論の実証対象とみなしている。したがって、ここでのネットワーク構築は 中心から周縁へ広がるものと考えられ、アジアの国々は大抵、そのネットワークにおいて最小限かつ従属 的な役割としてしか存在しない。これらのプロセスの事例はともに都市研究の短い歴史の中で豊富に存在 する。前者の事例はポストコロニアル研究によりすすめられてきた分析である「平凡な都市（ordinary city） 」の提唱であり、後者の事例はそれぞれの国家における「世界都市」への探求である。 それぞれ特異な過去を持つアジアの各都市を理解するためには、どちらのパースペクティブも有益なも のではなく、それらは本質的で意味のあるネットワーク構築を妨げる。そこで、二つのパースペクティブ に代わり、アジアの国々独特の歴史的動態を考慮し、アジアの国々、加えてアジアと西洋の間の複合的な ダイナミックスにおける相互決定的な見方を可能にする「インサイドアウト・パースペクティブ」を提案 する（Tang and Mizuoka, 2010） 。ネットワーク構築において最も重要なことは、アジア諸都市をともに連 結させる、これらの発展のプロセスである。束縛された西洋の概念では香港を理解することは難しく、特 異なものとしても扱えないと主張するために、香港の様々な場所で長年に渡って行われている都市開発を 研究することで、この議論について詳しく述べる。 香港は「世界都市」でも「平凡な普通の都市」でもなく、東洋と西洋間で、そして中国と村落社会の間 で相互決定的に生み出されるものである。 32 Session 4-5 Hybridization Can Create Strong Species Jong Gyun Seo (Research Fellow) Korea Center for City and Environment Research A large redevelopment project in Anyang, which might include seven or more small redevelopment projects, has been ongoing for a few years. Many people feel excluded from the property development processes. They feel that they and their abilities are being ignored by planners. This frustrated group includes small business, a sector often regarded as being concerned only with profits. Their businesses have not been included in the new post-redevelopment social composition. The major stakeholders of redevelopment projects do not value existing businesses, especially small ones, until they become strong enough to resist the redevelopment process. In many cases, business’ voice is not organized until the very last stage of the decision-making process, by which time they can ask only for more compensation; this describes the situation in Anyang. We face many challenges, and there are many reasons why situations like Anyang’s continue to exist. There are few hopeful cases to be found. This disappoints us and often leaves us dispirited and apathetic. Different circumstances lead to different results, though: we might find that progress has been made in other circumstances and that we can learn from those successes. There is no need to wallow in disappointment: we need to discover those successes in order to foster a more positive attitude. The Anyang Public Art Project 2010 was a melting pot of various people’s ideas on ways to rethink Anyang’s problems and potential. It was a large collaborative project consisting of many small projects. Small Business Big Change, a competition for small-business innovation, was one of them; it was designed to bring attention to the potential of small businesses, especially in the context of redevelopment. A wealth of lessons and ideas came from many people from many countries. The projects from which we learned most include the Sham Sui Po project of the Community Museum Project in Hong Kong, the Row Housing project in Houston, the local business support services project in Bristol (England), and the Idea Village’s business plan competition in New Orleans. Influenced by these challenging projects, we drew various elements from them and mixed them into our own project. We also forged links with various groups, including small business owners, academics, researchers, artists, activists, students of business administration and art, consultants, and city government officials. What we achieved required their ideas and assistance. If our project continues, we will organize the voice of small businesses, help to realize their full potential, change the local entrepreneurial culture, and take urban regeneration into a new direction. セッション 4-5 異種交配が強い種をつくる ソ・ジョンギュン（主任研究員） 韓国都市研究所 安養での大規模な再開発のプロジェクトは、７つ以上の小さな開発を含むものであり、数年をかけて現在も進行し ている。多くの人々は、土地開発のプロセスから閉め出されていると感じており、彼ら自身及び彼らの能力はプラン ナーから無視されていると思っている。このような不満を持つ人々の中には、利益にしか関心がないと一般に思われ がちな、中小企業も含まれており、彼らの事業は再開発後の新しい社会構成には入ってはいないのである。再開発プ ロジェクトの主要な利害関係者達は、地域で営まれている既存の事業、特に小さな事業には価値がないと考えており、 中小企業者達が力を強めて再開発のプロセスに反対しはじめない限り関心を持つことはない。多くの場合、中小企業 者達の声は意思決定プロセスの最終盤にならないと組織化されず、その時にはより大きな補償を求めるしかないとい うのが、安養の状況である。 我々は様々な難問に直面しており、安養のような状況が現在も続いているのには様々な原因がある。希望を持てる ような場合はほとんどなく、我々は失望させられ、無関心になりがちである。しかし、異なる状況では異なる結果が 生まれる。別の状況でなされた進歩やその成功から学べることを見いだせるかもしれない。失望しもがくよりも、よ り前向きな姿勢を育むために、学ぶべき成功を見いだすべきである。 「安養パブリック・アート・プロジェクト 2010」は、安養の課題や可能性を考え直すために、様々な人々のアイディ アが融合したものであり、多くの小さなプロジェクトから構成された、大きな協同プロジェクトである。 「スモールビ ジネス、ビックチャンス」と呼ばれる、中小企業の革新に関するコンペはそのうちの一つであり、中小企業の持つ可 能性について、特に再開発の文脈から注目がなされるように企画されたものである。 このプロジェクトに関する多くのアイディアや教訓は、 様々な国々の様々な人々から得ている。香港・深水埗（Sham Shui Po）のコミュニティミュージアムのプロジェクトや、 ヒューストンのプロジェクト・ロー・ハウス（the Row Housing Project） 、英国ブリストルの地域ビジネス支援サービスのプロジェクト、ニューオーリンズのイデア・ビレッジ（Idea Village）でのビジネスプランのコンペなどから、多くのことを学んでいる。これらの挑戦的なプロジェクトに影響を 受けて、これらプロジェクトから様々な要素を引き出し混ぜ合わせ、我々のプロジェクトに取り入れている。また我々 は、中小企業のオーナー、大学人、研究者、アーティスト、活動家、経営や芸術を学ぶ学生、コンサルタント、市役 所の公務員、などの様々なグループとの間で関係を構築してきた。我々の目的には、彼らのアイディアと協力が必要 だったからである。もし我々のプロジェクトが今後も続くのであれば、中小企業の声を集めて、彼らが持つ豊かな可 能性への理解を促し、地域の起業文化を変えて、都市再生を新しい方向へと向けていく。 33 Session 4-6 Is Social Inclusion Everyone’s Business? Suzy Goldsmith (Senior Research Fellow) The University of Melbourne The Western Region of Melbourne is recognised as a disadvantaged region within Metropolitan Melbourne. The reasons for this include the decline of traditional industries, the higher proportion of non-English speaking residents, and the higher proportion of personal disadvantage including education, lack of support, and health and social disadvantage. There is a considerable body of data available on these issues, through the five-yearly Australian Bureau of Statistics Census, and also through many studies conducted by research organisations, not-for-profits and government. Measures of social inclusion/exclusion account for a wide range of factors, from homelessness, through mental health to financial support and employment. The prevalence of multiple drivers of social exclusion is well documented. However, despite this knowledge, the considerable investment and effort directed at the problem has failed to halt, let alone reverse the slide. While financial support (essentially, access to income from employment) is the only consistent item across the many studies conducted, there has been limited research on the role of employing organisations and the relationship they have with regional support, such as training and skills development. Our research proposal asks why, and seeks to develop a broader and more nuanced understanding of the relationship between individual and regional social inclusion/ exclusion, business and industry prospects, practices and performance, and regional initiatives and investments, such as skills and education. セッション 4-6 社会的包摂は全員の問題？ スージー・ゴールドスミス（主任研究員） メルボルン大学 メルボルンの西部地域（ウェスト・メルボルン）は、メルボルン大都市の中でも不利を抱える地域と して知られている。この状況を生じさせた要因として、従来型産業の衰退や高い非英語住民の比率のほ か、個人に属する不利（教育、支援の欠如、健康的・社会的不利）の割合が高いことが挙げられる。こ うした不利については、オーストラリア統計局の５年ごとの国勢調査をはじめ、研究機関・NPO・行政 による多くの利用可能なデータがある。 社会的包摂／排除の指標は、ホームレスか否かや、メンタルヘルスの問題から、資金的援助、雇用と いった多岐にわたる要因から成る。社会的排除を強めるさまざまな要因が広まっていることは頻繁に報 告されている。しかし、にもかかわらず、社会的排除という問題に向けた相当の投資と努力は、この趨 勢を反転させるどころか、止めることもできていない。 これまでの多くの研究で、唯一、一貫して現れるのは、金銭的支援（本質的には、雇用を通じた収入 へのアクセス）の問題であった。しかし、既往研究では、雇用支援に関わる団体、あるいは、そうした 団体と職業訓練・技能開発といった地域のサポートとの関係についての分析が不足している。我々の研 究計画の狙いは、以下の諸点の関係を、より広く、かつ、より詳細に理解することを問い、地域の社会 的包摂／排除と個人、商業と工業の見通し、実践と効用、そして地域のイニシアチブと技能・教育への 投資との関係に関する理解を目指す。 34 Session 4-7 How Do the Housing and Redevelopment Policies Marginalize the Urban Poor in Taipei? Liling Huang (Assistant Professor) National Taiwan University As one of the former “Four Asian Tigers,” Taiwan had created its world renowned “Economic Miracle” by the mid 1980s. However, unlike the governments in Hong Kong and Singapore, the national and local governments in Taiwan invested extremely little in public housing to facilitate economic and social development. In 2010, public housing for the urban poor represents only 0.08% of the total housing stock in Taiwan, a fact criticized by activists as “a shame on the government.” This paper aims to analyze the housing situation of the urban poor in Taipei. It will first examine the history of Taiwan’s approach to housing policy and show how it has always excluded the urban poor. Then, it will analyze the recent urban redevelopment policy of Taipei and describe its impact on the housing market, especially for the urban poor. Moreover, it will address the difficulties attending political activity in the inner city and contrast those difficulties with the way more affluent communities have easily obtained resources from the city government over the past two decades. We will show that some NGOs committed to urban policy and social welfare have recently mobilized in Taipei to address housing issues and have pushed the governments to respond; their appeals will be introduced in this paper. However, it has been pointed out that these activities for preserving traditional performing arts, by turning them into cultural treasures, make the objective of traditional performing arts the mere preserving of their past forms without allowing for changes, when they should instead be ‘living’ arts for both the performers and the audience. While official policy measures have been oriented towards the ‘mummification’ of the traditional performing arts, how have the performing bodies that practice the traditional performing arts gone about securing audiences and successors for their respective arts? The three Japanese performing arts that have been recognized by UNESCO have each adopted differing operating models in setting up a system for training their own successors and developing their own audiences. In this presentation, by explaining the operating models of the Japanese traditional performing arts, their means of training successors and developing audiences, and related issues, I will consider what kind of operating models, successor training, and audience development can make continuation of ‘living’ art forms possible. Bunraku, which has adopted rewards based on actual ability, is having great difficulty in securing both successors and audiences because it has no means of developing an audience premised on this pattern of handing the art down. On the other hand in Noh, which has adopted the iemoto system, while this seems to have shut the door to the outside, by accepting many performers as apprentices, it has made it possible to train successors and develop an audience within the system. In the world of Kabuki, there are two successor training systems, one for non-hereditary actors and one for the hereditary ones, and exposure of the hereditary actors who play leading roles through the media has contributed to the development of an audience. In the current situation wherein all of the performers necessary for staging performances cannot be turned out through the hereditary system, a merit system that rewards actual ability regardless of hereditary connection would seem to be effective for motivating performers and elevating their skills. Then, the study also considers developing a participatory audience premised on successor training through a merit-based system. セッション 5-1 伝統芸能上演組織の鑑賞者開発と後継者育成 高島 知佐子（GCOE 特別研究員（博士研究員）） 大阪市立大学 ユネスコの活動等に見られるように、伝統的または古典的な芸術・芸能の保存・継承への関心が、世 界的に高まりつつある。しかしながら、伝統芸能の保存・継承への取り組みは、実演者と鑑賞者にとっ ては「生きた」芸であるべき伝統芸能を文化財化する事により、変化を認めず、過去の形式のまま保存 する事のみを伝統芸能の目的としてしまうことが指摘されている。政策的取り組みが伝統芸能の「文化 財化」に向かう中で、伝統芸能の上演組織はそれぞれどのように鑑賞者と後継者を獲得しているのだろ うか。ユネスコに宣言されている日本の３つの伝統芸能は、それぞれ異なる運営形態を採用し、独自の 後継者育成と鑑賞者開発の仕組みを設けている。本発表では、日本の伝統芸能の運営形態とその後継者 育成と鑑賞者開発の仕組みと課題を明らかにすることにより、 「生きた」伝統芸能の継承を可能にする後 継者育成と鑑賞者開発のあり方を検討する。 後継者育成に世襲制を採用していない文楽では、このような後継者育成を前提とした鑑賞者開発の仕 組みが存在しないゆえに、後継者・鑑賞者双方の獲得に苦慮している。一方、家元制度を採る能楽では、 門戸が閉ざされていることが指摘されているが、習い事としての実演者を多く取り込むことで、制度内 での後継者育成と鑑賞者開発の双方を可能にしている。歌舞伎においては、非世襲による俳優の養成と 世襲の２つの後継者育成の仕組みを持ち、世襲による主役級俳優のメディアへの露出等が鑑賞者開発に 貢献している。世襲制だけでは公演に必要なすべての実演者を輩出できない状況において、非世襲制＝ 実力制は実演者のモチベーションや技芸の向上には有効であると考えられる。そこで、本報告では、実 力制による後継者育成を基盤とした鑑賞者開発の仕組みについても検討する。 39 Session 5-2 Accounting in Recycling Network Enterprises: Reflections on Capability-building Hannu Kurunsaari (GCOE Research Fellow (PD)) Osaka City University Recycling has become increasingly important as it contributes to the sustainable city by creating jobs, reusing materials and reducing the environmental burden. Many of recycling enterprises take a form of a network enterprise. These networks enable firms and individuals to get access resources and develop their capabilities but little is known how capability-building happens. The study is motivated by concerns how accounting acts in capability-building in network enterprises, especially in recycling network enterprises. Capability-building is stimulated by various needs and conflicts among network partners and the paper is an initial exploration of how accounting acts in this process. The research develops a framework to understand that accounting works through two sets of mechanisms: selfregulating and orchestration mechanisms in a network enterprise (Mouritsen & Thrane 2006, Vosselman & Van der Meer-Kooistra 2009). The cases of two Japanese recycling franchise chains are explored in order to understand how management control mechanisms maintain and develop their networks. The study gives evidence that accounting is significant actor in contributing to capability-building in network enterprises. System builders use management control mechanisms to respond to needs and conflicts and build capabilities to overcome them. Capabilities are results of interaction between network partners and resources of the network. This interaction between organizational actors is mediated by accounting which sets procedures for transactions, integrates all relevant interests and determines accepted behavior to increase ‘willingness to accept vulnerability’. Individual partners receive various complements through the networks, including capabilities in customer service, purchasing and learning. The study suggests that management control mechanisms have an active role in initiating trust in the beginning, but later trust reduces the need for formal control and mechanisms for cooperating and sharing resources and capabilities become dominant. セッション 5-2 リサイクルネットワーク事業における会計： 能力構築についての考察 ハンヌ・クルンサアリ（GCOE 特別研究員（博士研究員）） 大阪市立大学 リサイクル産業の重要性がより一層高まっている。それは、雇用創出、原料の再利用、環境負担軽減によっ て持続可能な都市の実現に貢献するためである。リサイクル事業は、多くの場合、ネットワークの形式を採用 する。企業や個人は、ネットワークを通じて様々な資源にアクセスすることが可能になり、能力（capability） を構築できる。しかし、能力の構築が行われる方法については、あまり知られていない。本研究は、会計がど のようにネットワーク事業、特にリサイクルネットワーク事業の能力構築において機能するかについての関心 に端を発している。能力構築は、様々なニーズやネットワークパートナー間のコンフリクト発生によって刺激 される。本研究は、会計がこのプロセスにおいてどのように作用するかについての最初の探求である。本研究 では、会計がネットワーク事業において、二つのメカニズムのセットを介して作用する状況を理解するための フレームワークを開発する。この二つのセットとは、自己規制（self-regulating）とオーケストレーション （orchestration）のメカニズムのことである（Mouritsen & Thrane 2006, Vosselman & Van der Meer-Kooistra 2009）。経営側のコントロール・メカニズムがネットワークをどのように維持・開発するのかを理解するため、 日本のリサイクル・フランチャイズチェーンの二つの事例を検討する。 会計はネットワーク事業の能力構築に貢献する重要なアクターであることが、本研究によって明らかにされ る。能力は資源とネットワーク加盟者の相互作用の結果生み出される。組織のアクター間の相互作用は会計に よって媒介される。会計は業務処理のために手順を設定し、関連する利害関係者全てを統合する。そして、 「進 んで弱点を受け入れる意欲」を促進する行為の規範を決める。加盟者は、顧客サービス能力、買い取り能力、 学習能力を含む様々な補完物をネットワークを介して受け取る。管理側のコントロール・メカニズムは、初期 の段階では信頼を得るために積極的な役割を果たす。だが後には、信頼によって公的な経営側のコントロー ル・メカニズムの必要性が減少し、資源と能力の共有メカニズムが支配的になる。以上のことを本報告では提 言したい。 40 Session 5-3 The Experimental Investigation between Social Enterprise and Community-based Art Sunsik Kim (GCOE Research Fellow (PD)) Osaka City University In most cases, community-based art, if it is tried to solve out the community problem, made impact to community revitalization as a result of play of self-sufficient play. In this case, there are a few public supports, and the results express as individual activities or movement. We can guess what structure of support system and what type of organization would be there, when the community revitalization arouse through the artistconscious plan and implementation. In the paper, the sustainable condition of artist organizing activities are explored and other forms of something can be able to think about, dealing with the three cases of community-based art deployed in United States and South Korea, concentrated on the poor area in the big city. These cases have contents for co-work of university, NGO, financial institutions, and municipal governments; which are connected in a solidarity network. And each sector’s roles are expressed in charge inquiry into the whole point of view of making sustainability of community-based art implementation to a poor area. General and sustainable conditions are also considered. In the case of South Korea, it is referred that the art enterprise or social enterprise organized by artists, or hire artists as employees and member of implementation simultaneously has an important role of example activities. In the case of the United States, it is dealt with that real estate development of the social enterprise for making the artist studios and the galleries in order to give chance to new artists in the underserved communities. So far, public supports for the artists are deployed as an giving a hiring chance in a public art program, temporary performance art in a festival, and some kind of taxation help. But as a real, it is not implemented systemically that the giving an accessibility of the art to the poor class and the public support for fulfilling of their demand to the arts. What kind of beneficial and useful role can be played as a social enterprise of artists would be referred conditioning that deficits of public supports continued for long time, in order to obtain of equality for these kind of art and make sustainability of providing people with it. セッション 5-3 コミュニティ・アートに対するサポートシステムの米韓ケース スタディ 金 淳植（GCOE 特別研究員（博士研究員）） 大阪市立大学 コミュニティ・アートはその芸術的な価値はさておき、外部リソースに依存することでコミュニティ の問題を解決したり、活性化に影響を与えたりするようなまちづくりの起爆剤や手段としてよく用いら れてきた。ところが、コミュニティ・アートを用いてプログラムを実施する場合、公的な支援がなけれ ば、ほとんどの場合、芸術家の自主活動や運動に依存してしまうため、持続的なアート活動やコミュニ ティへの貢献を期待することはできなかった。 本報告ではアメリカと韓国の大都市において実験的に行われている、芸術家が組織したコミュニティ・ アートセンターと他の活動拠点を事例として取り上げ、その形態と支援システムを比較する。いずれの 事例においても大学や NGO、金融機関、自治体の連携によって活動が支えられている。また、貧困層、 低所得層の居住地域におけるコミュニティ・アートの活動を通じてコミュニティ再生をはかっていると いう共通点もある。韓国のケースは、政府による社会的企業の育成・支援という背景を巧みに利用した もので、無名の芸術家によって作られた芸術企業のコミュニティ・アートの活動である。アメリカのケー スは、CDFI と呼ばれる非営利金融機関の支援によって設立されたアートセンターの活動であり、貧困地 域においてアーティストにアートスタジオ、ギャラリーでの活動の機会を提供する。 いずれの事例も公的支援に頼らず、ファイナンス・運営・ガバナンスにおいて役割を果たしているア クターが存在し、そのアクター間のネットワークとバランスが全体の支援システムを構築しているよう に思われる。選択と集中の傾向が強くなっていく芸術家への公的支援とは異なる、公的支援に依存しな い持続的な支援システムの構築に必要なものを考察したい。 41 Session 5-4 Social Roles of Faith-Related Organizations in Homeless Support Tatsuya Shirahase (URP Research Fellow) Osaka City University Homeless people have increased and become visible in Japan since the middle 1990s. Though governmental sectors support homeless people, their activities are limited Thus private sectors – especially Faith-Related Organizations (FROs) - play big roles to support homeless people. There are various types of FROs. Some FROs make much of propagation of their faith, others don’t. And Some FROs intend to cooperate with the local government, others intend to keep independent. Anyway, the majority of the FROs are related to the Christianity. Since many FROs are intricate and invisible, the past Japanese homeless studies have paid little attention to the FROs. Therefore, the social roles of the FROs have not been clarified. In this presentation I aim to classify the FROs’ characters and explain 3 points below. 1. Why do FROs support homeless? 2. How do FROs create social capital? 3. What are the differences between FROs and secular organizations? セッション 5-4 ホームレス支援における Faith-Related Organization の社会的役割 白波瀬 達也（URP 特別研究員） 大阪市立大学 日本では 1990 年代中頃からホームレスが増加した。以来、政府セクターはホームレスの人々を支援し ているが、それらの活動は限定的である。それゆえ、民間セクター、とりわけ Faith-Related Organizations （FRO）がホームレス支援において大きな役割を担っている。FRO と一口にいってもそれらには様々な タイプがある。ある FRO は信仰の伝達を重視するが、そうでないところもある。また、ある FRO は地 方政府と協働する傾向があるが、インディペンデントであることを守ろうとする FRO もある。いずれに せよ、FRO のマジョリティはキリスト教と関連している。多くの FRO は複雑かつ見えにくい存在なの で、これまでの日本のホームレス研究は FRO にほとんど注意をはらってこなかった。それゆえ、FRO の社会的役割は明確になってこなかった。このプレゼンテーションでは、FRO の特徴および以下の３つ のポイントを明らかにする。 １．なぜ FRO はホームレスを支援するのか ２．いかにして FRO はソーシャル・キャピタルを形成するのか ３．世俗的な組織と FRO とで何が異なっているのか 42 Session 5-5 Problem of Mismatch between the Process of Securing Permanent Housing and Housing Policy for Single Mother Households in Japan Lisa Kuzunishi (GCOE Research Fellow (PD)) Osaka City University Since the 1970s, the number of divorced women with children has risen sharply, comprising 1,517,000 households in 2006. The main problem created by the increase in these households is their low economic status. Single mother households in particular are among the poorest of all households, with an average income one-third that of general households. Under the profit-oriented housing provision system, it is difficult for such low-income households to secure affordable housing. The owner occupation rate of single mothers (20.6%) in 2003 was about one-third that of the overall rate. Compared to general households, the rate of single mother households living above the minimum housing standard is lower, and their housing expense is much higher. In particular, the quality of their private rental housing is the lowest of all households. The main factor is the tendency of divorced women, particularly those with children, to move out of their marital homes immediately before or after divorce. Single mothers also tend to fall into poverty and subsequently face unstable housing situations. Currently, there are three types of housing assistance for single mother households: farther less family daily living support facilities, the loan system (housing fund, moving fund), and public housing. However, for serious housing conditions, these types of housing assistance are insufficient. Thus, improvements in housing situations and modification of current housing policy are urgently required. To clarify possible solutions, this paper examines both quantitative and qualitative aspects of single mothers' housing needs and identifies aspects of housing assistance that are inadequate for single mothers' process of securing housing. セッション 5-5 住宅政策の不備がもたらす母子世帯の居住問題 葛西 リサ（GCOE 特別研究員（博士研究員）） 大阪市立大学 1970 年代以降、離別母子世帯は一貫して増加傾向にあり、2006 年にはその数は約 150 万世帯となって いる。こういった世帯が増加する上で問題視されるのは、彼女らの貧困である。母子世帯は世帯類型の 中で最貧困層とさえ言われており、その平均年収は一般世帯の約 3 分の 1 程度となっている。よって、我 が国のような支払い能力が住宅の質に反映されるという住宅事情のもとでは、母子世帯がアフォーダブ ル住宅を確保することは難しい。実際に、一般世帯と比較して母子世帯は借家に依存する割合が極端に 高く、その、最低居住水準の達成率は低く、住居費負担率が高いという状況が明らかになっている。こ れは、彼女らの多くが離婚を機に結婚時の住宅を出る傾向が高いことと強く関係している。離婚前後の 母子世帯は経済的に困窮している傾向が高く、それが故に、不安定な居住状況を強いられることとなる のである。我が国では、母子世帯に対して、母子生活支援施設の供給、母子福祉資金の貸付（住宅資金、 転宅資金）、公営住宅の優先入居制度を創設するなどして対応に努めている。だが、これらのみでは母子 世帯の住生活問題の改善は難しい。彼女らにとって効果的な支援策の対応策を構築することは急務の課 題であるが、その前提として、本報告は、１）母子世帯の居住ニーズを総体的に把握し、２）母子世帯 の住宅確保プロセスと現行の住宅支援とのミスマッチについて指摘することを目的とする。 43 Session 6 Perspectives of the AUC and its Prospects Panel Discussion （December 17, 2010, 14:00-17:00） セッション 6 国際学会AUCがフォローする視座とその展望 パネルディスカッション （2010年12月17日 14:00-17:00） 45 Session 6 Perspectives of the AUC and its Prospects Coordinator: Masayuki Sasaki (Professor) Osaka City University Toshio Kamo (Professor) Ritsumeikan University The session six is designed to reflect on the previous sessions of the symposium.
