The Diploma Programme encourages students to:

DPカリキュラム
● Courses from six subject groups
● The DP core:
● Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS)
● Extended essay (EE)
● Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
6つの教科群、3つのコア（中核）（CAS、課題論文、知識の理論）

Candidates for the diploma study six subjects
selected from the subject groups
● Three subjects at higher level (HL)
● Three subjects at standard level (SL)
6つの教科群から教科を選び、3つをハイヤーレベル、3つをス
タンダードレベルで履修する
Requirements: the Core

All three parts of the core:
● Extended Essay
● Theory of Knowledge
● Creativity, Activity, Service
are compulsory and are central to the
philosophy of the Diploma Programme

Requirements:
Assessment & Exams
コース規定：評価および試験
● Internal Assessment: projects that embody the
skills of the discipline. Carried out independently
with minimal teacher support
Examples include: oral exercises in language
subjects, student portfolios, practical laboratory
work, mathematical investigations and artistic
performances.
内部評価：各教科分野での学び（スキル等）を評価するもの　例：言語教科で
の口頭練習、ポートフォリオ、実験レポート、数学探求、芸術パフォーマンス
など
● External Exams: May of Grade 12 外部評価：12年生の5月
Earning the IB Diploma
IBディプロマ取得に向けて
● Complete all course work 全ての課題を完成させる
● Complete all Core activities 全てのコアを完了・完成させる
● Complete all assessment activities 全ての評価の対象となる
課題を完了させる
● Scores from internal assessment and external
exams must equal 24 points 内部・外部評価で合計24点以上取
得
● Successful completion of the IB Diploma also
earns students an HIS High School Diploma IBディプロ
マを取得することができれば、HISの高等学校卒業資格も取得可能
Bilingual Diploma
バイリンガルディプロマ
Students who take English A and Japanese A
and score a ‘3’ or higher in the examinations
will receive a bilingual diploma
English A 及び Japanese Aを履修し、どちらの教科でも３以上
の成績の場合、バイリンガルディプロマを取得可能

online courses through Pamoja.** All are offered at HL/SL

**Students are permitted to take one-online course with the
recommendation of DP teachers

Language Acquisition (Japanese B/Ab Initio):
教科群2の言語習得（日本語）の代わりに以下の教科をオンラインで履修する事も
可能。その際、DP教員からの推薦が必要となる。
● Spanish Ab Initio**　スペイン語
● Spanish B
● Mandarin Ab Initio**　中国語（マンダリン）
● French Ab Initio**　フランス語
**Students are permitted to take one-online course with
the recommendation of DP teachers

Group 6 Arts Options:　教科群6
● Film Studies, offered by Pamoja online, may be taken as a
Group 6 Arts (Music/Art) option**　映像学を音楽・美術の代わりに
パモジャで履修する事も可能。その際、DP教員からの推薦が必要となる。
● Chemistry may be taken in place of a Group 6 Arts option
化学を教科群6の代わりに履修する事も可能。
● Any additional course in Group 1-5 may be taken in Group
6. (Example: Psychology instead of Art)　他の教科（教科群1から
5）を履修する事も可能。（例：美術の代わりに心理学）
**Students are permitted to take one-online course with the
recommendation of DP teachers
Grade 11-12 Schedule
11年、12年生のスケジュール
●
5 class periods/week for IB DP courses IBDPコースは各
教科一週間に5コマの授業
● 1 study hall period/week 一週間に1コマは自習時間
● TOK 3 periods/week 知識の理論の授業が一週間に2コマ
● CAS 1 period/week CASの授業が一週間に1コマ
● Online classes are incorporated into the class
schedule オンラインでのコースも時間割に含まれる
