7.欧米カーメーカーにおける主要センサーの採用動向
1.レインセンサー
ダイムラー………………………AクラスのA170には、レインセンサーは採用していない
ものの、A170エレガンス以上の車種には、ほとんどレイ
ンセンサーを標準採用している。スマートフォーツークーペ,
スマートフォーツーカブリオ(1.0㍑車)は、レインセン
サーの採用はない。
GM………………………………キャデラックSTSは、2005年モデルからレインセンサ
ーが標準となっている。キャデラックSRXはレインセンサ
ー未装着となっている。キャデラックDTSはレインセンサ
ー標準となっている。キャデラックCTS(2.8,3.6㍑
車),XLR−Vはレインセンスワイパー標準となっている。
フォード…………………………フィエスタ,フォーカスの1.6㍑車は、通常の手動式ワイ
パーとなっているものの、フォーカスの2.0㍑車は、雨滴
感知式オートワイパーを標準採用している。また、エクスプ
ローラーは、雨滴感知ワイパーが標準となっているものの、
エスケープは未装着となっている。リンカーンMKX(中型
SUV)は未装着となっている。リンカーンナビゲーターも
未装着となっている。
クライスラー……………………300Cは間欠式フロントワイパー(雨量感知機能)が全グ
レード標準装備となっている。ミニバンのボイジャーは手動
式となっている。PTクルーザー,クロスファイアも手動式
となっている。ジープでは、パトリオット,チェロキーは未
装着であるものの、グランドチェロキーのリミテッド4.7
以上のグレードに雨量感知機能付ワイパーを採用している。
VW………………………………ポロには未装着であるものの、ゴルフの上級グレード(R3
2,GTI,GTX)にレインセンサーを採用している。ゴ
ルフヴァリアント(ワゴンタイプ)は、2000cc ターボ
車がレインセンサー標準で、1400cc(コンフォートライ
ン)が手動式となっている。パサートセダン,パサートヴァ
リアントは、3.2 ㍑V6 4 モーションがレインセンサー標準
で、2.0 ㍑ターボ車がオプション、2.0 ㍑車が設定なしとな
っている。ジェッタは、2.0㍑車,2.0㍑ターボ車ともレ

1.エアフローメーター
1.市場概況
・エアフローメーターは、エンジンコントロールシステムにおいて使用されるセンサーで、エ
ンジンの吸入空気量を電気信号としてコントロールユニットに入力するものである。
・V型エンジンにおける2個採用や、小型車におけるエアフローメーターへの移行など、20
09年以降も市場はアップの方向で推移していくものと予測される。
2.商品概要
〔トヨタクラウンの2GR−FSEエンジンのホットワイヤー式エアフローメーター〕

・上記はトヨタクラウンの2GR−FSEエンジンのホットワイヤー式エアフローメーター
S/Aである。
・小型・軽量な樹脂製ホットワイヤー式プラグインタイプインテークエアフローメーターS
/Aを採用している。
・ホットワイヤー式プラグインタイプインテークエアフローメーターS/Aは、吸入空気の
一部を検出部に流し、直接質量流量を計測することにより、検出精度の向上及び吸気抵抗の
低減を図っている。
・エアクリーナーからの吸気脈動の影響を受けにくいバイパス流計測としている。また、流
体抵抗の少ない流路構造による低損失の実現を図り、少量から多量の空気量を確実に計測で
きる。

・2008年におけるエアフローメーターの市場規模は、数量が700万個,金額が127億
4,000万円となっている。(上記の市場規模推移は、国内生産台数をベース。金額は、部
品メーカーの納入価格(推定)から算出。2008年の数量は、2008年1∼9月の四輪
車生産実績をベースに算出。以下、個別センサー編の市場規模推移は全て同様の形態で算
出。)
・2008年におけるエアフローメーターの市場規模拡大の要因としては、2008年1∼1
2月における国内自動車生産台数が前年同期比102.3%(見込み)となったこと、ホン
ダでは従来、吸入空気量検出センサーとしてはMAPセンサー(マニホールドアブソリュー
トプレッシャーセンサー)を採用していたが、ステップワゴン,ストリーム,フィット,イ
ンスパイア,フリードなど、新型車を中心にエアフローメーターを採用していること、レク
サスLS460などの高排気量エンジンには1台当たり2個のエアフローメーターが採用
されていること、などが挙げられる。
・2009年以降もエアフローメーターの市場はアップが予測され、MAPセンサーからエア
フローメーターへの切り替わり、高級車を中心とした1台当たり2個採用、などが主な要因
として挙げられる。

16.電動パワーステアリング用トルクセンサー
1.商品概要
〔トヨタヴァンガードの電動パワーステアリング用トルクセンサー〕

・上記はトヨタヴァンガードの電動パワーステアリング用トルクセンサーである。
・トルクセンサーにより、トーションバーのねじれを検出し、ステアリング操舵時に発生する
トルクを電気信号に変換し、電動パワーステアリングコンピューターに出力する。
・ステアリングコラム部に内蔵され、ステアリング操舵時に入力されたトルクを電気信号に変
換する。入力軸(ステアリングホイール側)には検出リング1,2が配置され、出力軸(ス
テアリングギヤ側)には検出リング3が配置され、入力軸と出力軸はトーションバーを介し
て連結されている。
・また、検出リングの外周には位相検出コイルが非接触で配置され、励磁回路が構成されてい
る。ステアリングホイールに操舵トルクを発生させると、トーションバーがねじれ、検出リ
ング2と検出リング3の間に相対変位が生じることにより、この変化を電気信号として電動
パワーステアリングコンピューターへ出力する。
・トルクセンサーは、VT1,VT2,2系統の信号を出力する回路で構成され、電動パワー
ステアリングコンピューターは、VT1信号により操舵トルクを算出し、VT2信号により
VT1信号の監視を行っている。
・なお、検出リング1と2に配置されている補償コイルにより温度補正を行い、検出コイルか
ら出力される電気信号を補正している。

・2008年における電動パワーステアリング用トルクセンサーの市場規模は、数量が630
万個,金額が55億4,000万円となっている。
・2008年は、ホンダが5月から発売開始のフリード(モビリオの後継車)に電動パワース
テアリングを全グレード標準採用している。富士重工も2008年6月から発売開始のエク
シーガにおいて、2.0㍑車(自然吸気エンジン)に電動パワーステアリングを採用してい
る。また、マツダも 2008 年 1 月の全面改良時から、アテンザの FF 車にラックドライブ式電
動パワーステアリングを採用している。
・電動パワーステアリングは、主要燃費向上対策技術として小型車から高排気量車まで採用車
種が拡大傾向にあり、これにより、電動パワーステアリング用トルクセンサーの市場も拡大
傾向で推移していくものと予測される。
