Originally established as an aircraft manufacturer, Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd. has grown into an all-round
transportation equipment manufacturer encompassing the following three areas: automobiles (our cornerstone); aerospace equipment; industrial equipment. Each business division enjoys a strong reputation for
its wealth of distinctive technologies.
The automobile business, in particular, has a well-established tradition for producing innovative automobiles,
beginning with the Subaru 360. This tradition has been maintained by subsequent models such as Legacy,
Impreza , Forester and Levorg .Subaru-brand cars are popular with drivers due to their record of safety
and excellent performance based on features such as a horizontally opposed engine and symmetrical
all-wheel drive (AWD).
