1. We are working our way, chapter by chapter through this book, or really a letter, that was
written by the Apostle John.
私たちは使徒ヨハネによって書かれたこの本、本当は手紙ですがこの黙示録を 1 章ずつ学んでいます。
a. He was writing this letter at the end of the 1st Century from the island of Patmos having
been exiled there because of his faith in Jesus Christ.
ヨハネは、この黙示録というこの本を 1 世紀の終わりに、イエス様を信じる信仰によって追放され
ていたパトモスと言う島から書いていました。
b. It was there on that remote island that Jesus appeared to John and told him in Revelation
1:19…
黙示録 1 章 19 節でイエス様がヨハネに現われ言われた離島でした。
Write the things which you have seen,
and the things which are,
and the things which will take place after this.
あなたの見た事、今ある事、この後に起こることを書きしるせ。
c. From this verse we get our divine timeline.
この節より、私達は私たちの神様のタイムラインを得ます。
1) the things which you have seen – the Past, that’s the content of Chapter 1.
あなたの見たこと― 過去、それは 1 章の内容です。
a) John saw a majestic manifestation of Jesus Christ.
ヨハネはイエス・キリストの壮大な存在を目にしました。
2) the things which are – the Present which covers the content of Chaps 2-3.
あなたの見たこと― 過去、それは 1 章の内容です。
a) Jesus had a message to seven churches.
イエス様は 7 つの教会に伝えたいメッセージがありました。
 Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.

 And in those chapters we looked at what Jesus had to say to the churches.
そしてこれらの章の中で、私たちはイエス様が何を 7 つの教会の人たちに伝えたかを

- Commendations as well as rebukes.

 These messages in Chap 2-3 represent all of Church History…

- And they are also messages for the Present Day Church.

b) The end of chapter 3 marks two things for us.
3 章の終わりに、私たちに対する 2 つの事を示しています。
 It’s the end of Jesus’ words to His church.
それは、イエス様の教会へのイエス様の最後の言葉です。
 It also marks the end of the Church Age.
教会時代の終わりを示す言葉でもあります。
- And chapter 4 marks the beginning of the next stage.
そして、4 章はつぎの段階の始まりを示す。
c) It’s at this point that we believe the church will be Raptured and taken out of this
world for a period of 7 years…
私達は、教会は携挙（空中に引き上げられる）され、この世から 7 年間取り去られること
をここ（4 章の始め）で信じます。
3) Chapter 4 marks the beginning of the things which will take place after this –
the Future.
4 章は「この後に起こる事」の始まりを示します。－未来。
a) In chapters 4 and 5 we get a glimpse into heaven where we see heavenly worship
and the Throne of God.
4 章と 5 章では、私達は天にある礼拝と神様の王座を見る天国を垣間見るでしょう。
b) From chapter 6 all the way to chapter 19 we are going to see the terrifying events
associated with what’s called the Great Tribulation…

c) After that 7-year period, Jesus will return to the earth visibly in what we call the
Second Coming of Christ.

 Satan will be bound while Christ rules on earth with His followers for 1,000
years.
サタンは、イエス様がこの世をクリスチャンと支配する 1000 年間は縛られます。
d) Satan will be released one final time in Revelation 20, but is ultimately defeated…
サタンは黙示録 20 章の最後に解放されますが、最終的には敗れます・・・・
 There will be one final Great White Throne Judgment where all unbelievers
will be eternally condemned.
そこは全ての未信者が永遠に非難される最後の大きな白い御座の裁きが行われる場所
です。
 And then the New Heaven and New Earth are created… along with the New
Jerusalem.
そして新しい天と新しい地が創造される・・・新しいエルサレムと共に。
 This is the book of Revelation in a nutshell
これが黙示録の簡潔な内容です。
So let’s turn to Revelation 5 as we continue to look at what will take place around the Throne
of God as the End Time Events begin to unfold.
では、終末の出来事が展開されている間に神様の御座の周りで何が起こるか続けて 5 章を見てみましょう。
1. John is now in Heaven and he’s witnessing future events, the events that will take place in
Heaven as the Great Tribulation prepares to begin on the earth.
ヨハネは天国にいて将来の出来事を目撃しています。これらの出来事は地上で起こる患難の前触れです。

1. In verses 1-7, as we saw last week, John saw a special scroll found in the right hand of Him who
sat on the throne.
1 節～7 節は先週私たちが見たように、ヨハネが御座に座っていた方の右手の中にある特別な巻き物を見

a. There in the hand of God was the title deed to the earth.
神様の御手の中には地上の権利書がありました。

1) The earth that God created… A place that has become filled with sinful, unbelieving
inhabitants that have rejected God.
神様が創造された地上・・・罪深く神様を拒否した不信仰な住民で満ちてしまった場所です。
2) God was holding the sealed title deed to the earth, which Satan currently has control
over today.
サタンが現在支配しているこの地上の封印された権利書を神様が握っておられました。
2. The scroll was being held shut by not one, but seven seals.
巻き物は、一つではなく七つの封印によって閉じられていました。
a. And an unnamed strong angel powerfully proclaimed, “Who is worthy to open the scroll
and to loose its seals?”
そして、名前のない強い御使いは力強く宣言しました。「巻き物を開いて、封印を解くのにふさわ
しい者はだれか。」
1) Having posed his question, the only response was silence!
質問を持ちかけると、反応は沈黙だけでした。
a) None of the powerful archangels spoke up.
力強い大天使は誰も話しませんでした。
b) All of the mighty Patriarchs of the Old Testament remained motionless.
旧約時代の全ての偉大な族長たちは、微動だにしませんでした。
c) Of the scores of mighty men and women of faith who are recorded in the scriptures,
none stepped forward (volunteered).
聖書に記録されている多くの偉大な信仰の男女は誰も前に出ることができませんでした。
d) The church, we believe having already been raptured at this point, in the presence
of Jesus, had no super saints who were worthy of such a task.
すでに携挙され、イエス様のおられる所にある教会には、巻き物を開くという任務にふさ
わしい特別な聖徒たちはいませんでした。
2) A search of the entire universe, from heaven to hell and all points in between turned up
no one worthy to open the scroll.
宇宙全体、天国から地獄にいたる全てを調べても巻き物を開くにふさわしい人はいません。
b. Was there anyone who was worthy to take the scroll, the title deed and open it?
誰か巻き物、地上の権利書を開くにふさわしい人がいたでしょうか？

1) Was the fate of this world going to be left in the hands of Satan?
この世の運命は、サタンの手の中に残されたのでしょうか？
3. Overwhelmed with grief and dismay at the prospect of Satan remaining in control of the earth,
John began to weep intensely.
ヨハネはサタンがこの世を支配し続けるかもしれないという予想のせいで、悲しみと失望に圧倒されて、
激しく泣き始めました。
a. Then one of the elders comforted John by directing his attention to none other than Jesus
himself, whom the elder called the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Root of David.
そこで、「ユダ族から出た獅子」とイエス様を呼んだ一人の長老が、他ならぬイエス様に目を向け
ることでヨハネを慰めました。
4. Looking up again John saw in the midst of the elders… a Lamb as though it had been slain.
ヨハネは再び見上げて、「長老たちとの間にほふられたと見える子羊」を見ました。
a. This is the one John the Baptist spoke of when he said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who
takes away the sin of the world!”
これは、バプテスマのヨハネが「見よ、世の罪を取り除く神の子羊。」と言ったときのあの子羊のこ
とです。
5. When Jesus came 2,000 years ago, His purpose in coming to the earth was to redeem the world
back to God.
イエス様が 2000 年前に地上に来られた時の目的は、この世を神様に戻すためでした。
a. It once belonged to God, God gave it to man, man in a sense gave it to Satan.
この世が神様のものだったとき、神様はこの世を人に与え、人がこの世をサタンに与えました。
b. But Jesus came to redeem the world back to God by paying the price of redemption with His
shed blood.
しかし、イエス様は贖いの代価をイエス様の流す血によって払うことで、この世を贖って神様のた
めに取り戻すために来られました。
c. He is the only One who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.
イエス様だけが巻き物の七つの封印を解き、開くにふさわしい唯一のお方です。

Revelation 5:8
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living
creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp,
and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
黙示録 5 章 8 節：彼が巻き物を受け取ったとき、四つの生き物と二十四人の長老は、おのおの、立琴と、香
のいっぱい入った金の鉢とを持って、子羊の前にひれ伏した。この香は聖徒たちの祈りである。

1. The appearance of the Lamb as He takes the scroll causes praise and worship to break out across
the entire universe…
全世界に渡って起こる賛美と礼拝を引き起こす巻き物を取る時の子羊の姿・・・。
a. Sin, death, and Satan were all about to be defeated!
罪、死そしてサタンは全て打ち負かされようとしています。
2. Dr. Donald Barnhouse noted that there are four things out of place in the Universe:
ドナルド・バーンハウス博士は、宇宙にあるべきではないものが 4 つあることを指摘しました。
a. The church, which should be in heaven.
天国にあるはずの教会。
b. Israel, which should be living in peace occupying all the land promised to her.
全ての約束された地に平和に住んでいるはずのイスラエル。
c. Satan, who belongs in the lake of fire.
火の池にいるはずのサタン。
d. And Christ, who should be seated on His throne reigning.
そして、御座に君臨するはずのイエス・キリスト。
1) All four of those anomalies will be set right when Christ takes and opens the scroll that
was in His Father’s hand (MacArthur).
これら 4 つの問題は、イエス様のお父さん（神様）の手の中にあった巻き物をキリストが取り、
開く時に正しい状態にされます。（マッカーサー）
3. John tells us that the elders in heaven fell down before the Lamb in an act of humility and
reverence.
ヨハネは、天国の長老たちが子羊の前に謙虚で敬意を示してへりくだっていることを私たちに伝えてい
ます。
a. JOKE: That reminds me of the simple farmer who live out in the country.
冗談：田舎で暮らす地味な農場主を思い出させます。
1) He trusted God and as far as that old farmer was concerned, God always took care of
him.
彼は神様を信頼し、彼に関する限り神様はいつも彼の面倒を見て下さいました。
2) One day the farmer invited a highly educated relative from the city out to his farm.
ある日、彼は農場外から高学歴の親戚を招きました。

3) When everyone sat down for dinner, the simple farmer grabbed the hands of those
beside him and said, "Let's pray. Oh God, we worship you and give you thanks for this
food. In Jesus's name, Amen.”
みんなが夕食のために座っていた時、農場主は彼の両側にいる人の手を握り「では、祈りまし
ょう。神様、私たちはあなたを拝し、この食事の感謝をあなたに捧げます。イエス様の御名に
よって、アーメン。」
4) His sophisticated relative scoffed, "That's so outdated and old-fashioned! Everyone with
an education knows that praying is a fool’s errand."
彼の教養ある親戚は嘲笑って言いました、「そんな時代遅れで古臭い！教養のある人は、そん
な祈りは骨折り損だって分かっているぞ！！」
5) “Well,” the farmer replied, “I know it's old-fashioned. And I have to admit that on my
farm some don't do this; they refuse to do it.”
「そうですね。」農場主は答えました。」「古臭いことは分かっています。私の農場にも祈ら
ず拒否するものがいることは確かです。」
6) “Really?” Asked the refined relative. “I'm so glad to see enlightenment finally come to
the farm. Who are these wise ones?”
「本当に？」上品な親戚が聞きました。「やっと農場に悟りが訪れてうれしいよ。その賢明な
人は誰？」
7) The farmer answered as he grabbed a roll, “My pigs.”
農場主は答えました。「私の豚たちです。」
b. In Proverbs 6:16 is says,
to Him:
These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination
箴言 6 章 16 節：主の憎むものが六つある。いや、主ご自身の忌みきらうものが七つある
1) And topping the list (first on the list) is “A proud look” (Prov 6:17)
リストの最初にあるのは「高ぶる目」です。(箴言 6 章 17 節)
c. In Psalm 31:23 it says,
Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the
faithful, And fully repays the proud person.
詩編 31 篇 23 節：すべて主の生徒たちよ。主を愛しまつれ。主は誠実な者を保たれるが、高ぶる者
には、きびしく報いをされる。
1) There’s no room for pride in the presence of the Lord.
主の存在下にプライドを置く場所はありません。
4. Each of these humble elders had a harp.
謙遜な長老たちはそれぞれ立琴を持っていました。

a. Harps were frequently associated in the Old Testament with worship,
立琴は、旧約時代の礼拝にしばしば関連していました。
b. But they were also closely linked to prophecy.
しかし、立琴は予言にも密接に関連しました。
1) In 2 Kings 3:15 (NLT), Elisha said, “Now bring me someone who can play the
harp.” While the harp was being played, the power of the LORD came upon Elisha.
第二列王記 3 章 15 節では：「しかし、今、立琴をひく者をここに連れて来てください。立琴
をひく者が、立琴をひき鳴らすと、主の手がエリシャの上に下り、」エリシャは言って言いま
した。
2) In 1 Chronicles 25:1, King David designated certain men who were to “prophesy with
harps, stringed instruments, and cymbals.”
第一歴代誌 25 章 1 節ではダビデ王が特定の男性を指定して「立琴と十弦の琴とシンバルを持
って予言する者とした。」
c. According to Pastor John MacArthur, “The harps held by the elders probably symbolize all
of prophecy, which culminates in the momentous events about to take place.”
ジョン・マッカーサー牧師によると、長老達が手にしている立琴は多分全ての予言の象徴としてい
る。その予言とは今にでも起ころうとしている重要な出来事によって全ての予言が成就するという
ことです。
5. In addition to the harps, the elders were also holding golden bowls full of incense.
立琴に加え、長老達は香のいっぱい入った金の鉢も持っていました。
a. The origin of these particular bowls goes back to the tabernacle and temple worship outlined
in the Old Testament.
これらの特定の鉢の起源は、旧約時代に述べられた礼拝の幕屋と神殿にさかのぼります。
b. Each morning and evening incense was to be offered as perpetual incense before the Lord
(Ex 30:7-9).
毎朝と毎夕の香は、永遠の香として主の前に捧げられるものでした。（出エジプト記 30 章 7 節～9
節）
1) The ascending incense symbolized the priestly work of intercessory prayer.
立ち上る香は、祭司職のとりなし（仲裁）の祈りを象徴していました。
2) What does prayer look like when it goes up to God?
祈りが神様のところに上る時、祈りはどのようなものでしょうか？

3) The bible uses the imagery of incense smoke rising to help give us an idea.
聖書は立ち上る香の煙のイメージを用いて、私たちに分かりやすく教えてくれます。
c. Psalm 141:2
Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of
my hands as the evening sacrifice.
詩篇 141 編 2 節：私の祈りが御前への香として、私が手を上げることが、夕べのささげ物として立
ち上りますように。
1) Personal Challenge: If bowls are holding our prayers, how full is your bowl?
個人の課題：もし鉢の中に私たちの祈りがあるとしたら、あなたの鉢はどのくらい満たされて
いるでしょうか？

Revelation 5:9-10
And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take
the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by
Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us
kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”
黙示録 5 章 9 節と 10 節 9 節：彼らは、新しい歌を歌って言った。「あなたは、巻き物を受け取って、その
封印を解くにふさわしい方です。あなたは、ほふられて、その血により、あらゆる部族、国語、民族、国民
の中から、神のために人々を贖い、10 節：私たちの神のために、この人々を王国とし、祭司とされました。
彼らは地上を治めるのです。
1. As the elders brought before God the prayers and petitions of the saints, they sang a new song.
長老たちが神様の前に祈りと聖徒の請願を持ってきた時に彼らは新しい歌を歌いました。
a. This song is often called “The Song of Redemption.”
この歌は、よく「贖いの歌」と呼ばれます。
b. It was a new song for a newly gathered group – the raptured church in heaven joining with
the 24 elders.
それは新しく集ったグループの新しい歌でした。－24 人の長老のいる天国へ携挙された教会のこと
です。
c. Since the bible nowhere records angels singing, it is understood that only saved human
beings are the ones singing here.
御使いが歌っていることは聖書のどこにも記録がないので、救われた人間だけがここで歌っている
ことがわかります。
d. Angels speak of God’s redeeming work, and man who experiences that work personally
sings about it.
御使いは、神様の贖いの業を語っており、その業を個人的に体験した者がそのことについて歌いま
す。

2. The strong angel asked in verse 2, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?”
2 節では強い御使いが聞きました、「巻き物を受け取り開くにふさわしいものは誰か？」
a. The redeemed sing-out the answer to the angel’s question, “[The Lamb] is worthy to take
the scroll, And to open its seals”
贖われた者が歌う―御使いに関する答えをひねり出す質問、「子羊は、巻き物を受け取って、その
封印を解くにふさわしい方です。」
1) To take the scroll and to break its seals means Christ is the only rightful and perfect
owner of the scroll and of the property described there in (owner of the property
described in the scroll).
巻き物を受け取り封印を解くという意味は、キリストはただ一人の正当な方で巻き物の完全な
る所有者であり、巻き物に記されている土地の所有者ということです。
3. The song continues, For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood…
歌は続けて「あなたは、ほふられて、その血により、」とあります。
a. It is by His blood that we have been cleansed from sin and are forgiven.
私たちが罪からきよめられ赦されたのはイエス様の血によるのです。
b. We were slaves of sin, but Jesus purchased us and has set us free by granting to us new
spiritual life in Him.
私達は罪の奴隷でしたが、イエス様が私達を買い取られイエス様にある新しい霊的命を私達に下さ
って、自由にしてくださいました。
4. It says, [You] have redeemed us… Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.
「あらゆる部族、国語、民族、国民の中から、神のために人々を贖い、」と言っています。
a. Those four terms, Tribe, Tongue, People, and Nation, encompasses all of humanity.
部族、国語、民族、国民のこれらの四つの言い回しは人間全てを含んでいます。
b. Think about what John is seeing!
ヨハネが何を見ているか考えて下さい。
1) When he received this special revelation of future events he was living at the end of the
1st Century.
ヨハネが将来の出来事の特別な啓示を受けた時、彼は 1 世紀の終わりに生きていました。
2) Christians were being extremely persecuted. John himself had been exiled to the
island of Patmos for his faith.
クリスチャンは非常に迫害されていました。ヨハネ自身もイエス様の信仰のゆえにパトモス島
に追放されていました。

3) Would the Christian church survive this great affliction coming upon them because of
their faith?
クリスチャンの教会は、彼らの信仰によって彼らに降りかかるこの大きな苦痛に耐えることが
できたでしょうか？
a) Yes they would! Nothing and no one could ever stop or exterminate Christ’s
church.
はい、できました。何も誰もキリストの教会を壊滅させたりすることは出来ませんでした。
b) John who watched his fellow Apostles and countless Christians be tortured to death
because of their faith is now seeing these saints and millions, if not billions more,
now celebrating and singing in Heaven before the Lamb.
仲間の使徒や数えきれないほどのクリスチャンが信仰のゆえに死ぬほどの拷問を受けてき
たのを見たヨハネは、今これらの聖徒と 10 億とは言わないまでも多くの人たちが今天国
の子羊の前でお祝いをして歌っている光景を見ています。
5. They could celebrate because the Lamb is worthy and He has made [Christian believers] kings
and priests to our God; And [believers] shall reign on the earth with Christ.
子羊は褒めるにふさわしく（クリスチャン）を王とし私たちの神に仕える祭司とされました。（クリス
チャン）はキリストと共に地上を治めるのです。そのため彼らは祝福できたのです。
a. At this point, the redeemed are now a part of God’s kingdom in heaven, but they won’t be
there for long.
ここで、贖いは天国の神様の王国の一部となりますが、彼らは、長くそこに留まりません。
1) For after the 7-year Great Tribulation period, all believers will be returning with Christ
at His Second Coming to reign and rule here on earth with Christ for 1,000 years.
7 年間の患難の後、全ての信者はキリストの再臨のときにキリストと共に 1000 年の間この地上
を支配します。
6. Make note that believers are also priests to our God signifying complete access to God’s
presence for worship and service (MacArthur).
信者は神に仕える祭司でもあります。それは神様の前に出て礼拝し奉仕するために神の前に出るための

Revelation 5:11-12
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the
throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten
thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was
slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
黙示録 5 章 11 節と 12 節 11 節：また私は見た。私は、御座と生き物と長老たちとの回りに、多くの御使い
たちの声を聞いた。その数は万の幾万倍、千の幾千倍であった。12 節：彼らは大声で言った。「ほふられた
子羊は、力と、富と、知恵と、勢いと、誉れと、栄光と、賛美を受けるにふさわしい方です。」

1. When it says, “and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand”
「その数は万の幾万倍」と伝えている場合。
a. The Greek word for “ten thousand” in this passage is μυριάς (myrias)… or myriad.
この節の万というギリシャ語は myriad です。
b. It literally means a very large indefinite number—‘countless, innumerable, many many’.
文字通りとても大きな無限の数字―数え切れない、無数の、とってもたくさんという意味です。
c. This same Greek word is also found in Luke 12:1 and Hebrews 12:22 where is it translated
“innumerable”.
この同じギリシャ語が「無数の」と訳されてルカの福音書 12 章 1 節とへブル 12 章 22 節にもありま
す。
2. The angels are not redeemed because they are not fallen creatures. Therefore, they could not
sing the song of redemption recorded in verses 9-10. (Hindson)
御使い達は、堕落した生き物ではないので贖われません。それ故、御使いは 9 節と 10 節に記録された贖
いの歌を歌うことは出来ませんでした。
a. But they now join the redeemed in singing praise to the Lamb for who He is.
しかし、今御使い達は贖われた者たちに加わって子羊である方への賛美を歌っています。
3. Once again, the emphasis is on Christ’s death, which supplies the believers’ redemption.
再度、キリストの死を強調しその死が信者の贖いを備えます。
a. It is very evident that Christ is equal with that of God the Father as evidenced by the
worship He receives.
キリストが受ける礼拝からも見ても明らかなように、キリストが父なる神様に等しいことは確かです。
1) Avoid those who teach that Jesus is not fully God.
They are deceived and misled.
キリストは完全なる神様ではないと教える人を避けて下さい。彼らは、だましたり振り回した
りします。
b. Jesus is both worthy to receive and already a possessor of Power, Riches, Wisdom, Strength,
Honor, Glory, and Blessings.
イエス様は力、富、知恵、強さ、名誉、栄光そして祝福を受けるにふさわしい方であり、すでにそ
れらの所有者です。
1) Each of these qualities is embodied in the Lamb Himself.
これらの各性質は子羊であるイエス様自身を具体化しています。

Revelation 5:13
And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth
and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard
saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And
to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

Let heaven and earth praise Him, The seas and
everything that moves in them.

a. And that is what is taking place during this future event that John is witnessing
supernaturally in Heaven.

Revelation 5:14
Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the
twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.

1. The word AMEN, a transliteration from the Hebrew word (Pronounced AMAIN) literally means
“so be it.”
アーメンという言葉はヘブル語から来たもので、「その通りです」という意味です。
a. It is an expression of faith, confidence, and certainty.
信仰、信頼と確実性を表現しています。
2. And lastly, the original word in this verse that is translated as “worship” literally means, “To
incline the face to the ground.”
この節の原文の言葉は、文字通りに礼拝を「地面に顔を傾ける」と訳しています。
a. It indicates not only a body position, but also an attitude and activity of reverence or honor.
体の位置を示すだけでなはなく、敬意と名誉を示す態度と行動です。

b. According to Pastor Skip Heitzig who lived in Israel, it also means to kiss the hand in
reverence2.
イスラエルに住んでいた牧師、スキップ・ヘイジッグによると、それは敬意をもって手に口づけを
すると言う意味でもあるということです。
1) It’s an intimate, loving term, a term that describes a close relationship.
それは親密な、愛情深い表現で、親しい間柄と記される言い回しです。
2) Reverence is involved, but it’s more intimate than that; it means to direct affection to
somebody whom you love.
敬意は含まれますが、敬意よりも親密です。それはあなたが愛する誰かに愛情を向けるという
意味です。
Conclusion:結論
1. We’ve talked much already about the importance of worship as we have seen worship dominate
the heavenly scenes described by the Apostle John.
私達は、使徒ヨハネによって記載された礼拝が天国の状況を支配しているのを見ながら、十分に礼拝の
重要性について話しました。
a. I want to continue to challenge you to learn how to worship God in both spirit and in truth
(John 4:24).
私は続けて皆さんに、どのようにして神様を心の中で礼拝するのかという事と実際に礼拝するのか
を学んでいって欲しいのです。
1) The heavenly hosts hold nothing back.
天の御使いたちは、何も惜しんでいませんでした。
2) The saved saints sing without reservation.
救われた聖徒は無条件で歌います。
3) And we should do the same.
そして私たちも同じようにするべきです。
2. But what I really want to emphasize in closing is Prayer!
しかし、私が締めくくりに本当に強調したいことは祈りです！
a. We saw the golden bowls with the prayers of the saints there before the Throne of God.
私達は、神様の御座の前の聖徒の祈りが入っている金の鉢を見ました。

1) Prayer is a really big deal to God.
祈りは神様には本当に大事なことです。
b. If bowls are holding your prayers, how full is your bowl?
もし鉢の中に私たちの祈りがあるとしたら、あなたの鉢はどのくらい満たされているでしょうか？
1) E.M. Bounds, whose ministry and many books focused on prayer wrote, “The men
who have done the most for God in this world have been early on their knees. He who
fritters away the early morning, its opportunity and freshness, in other pursuits than
seeking God will make poor headway seeking Him the rest of the day. If God is not first
in our thoughts and efforts in the morning, He will be in the last place the remainder of
the day.”
奉仕と祈りに焦点を合わせた本を多く書いた人物である E.M ボンズは言っています。「この
世で、神様のために最も多くの事を成した人々は朝早くに膝まずきます。チャンスであり新鮮
な早朝を無駄にする者、神様を求めることより他のことを求めることは、残りの一日神様を求

He also wrote, “Only God can move mountains, but faith and prayer move God.” (The
necessity of prayer)

c. For those of you who just feel like you have to do something… that you don’t like sitting
around…

1) John Wesley said, “Prayer is where the action is."

2) S.D. Gordon said, “Prayer strikes the winning blow.”

3. Jesus said in John 14:14
If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

a. Let’s fill up those golden bowls in heaven!

b. Let’s get God involved in the affairs of our lives here on earth by praying that He would be
glorified in all that we do.
私達が行う全てのことで神様が褒め称えられることを祈ることによって、この地上に住む私たちの
出来事に神様に関わっていただきましょう。
4. Let me share one final quote with you from E.M. Bounds, “Prayer is the greatest of all forces,
because it honors God and brings him into active aid.”
E.M ボンズの言葉から最後の引用を皆さんと分かち合わせてください。「祈りは、全ての力の中で最も
偉大なものです。なぜなら、その祈りは神様を褒め称え、神様に積極的に援助してもらうようにするか

a. Let’s tap into this power by being a people who are faithfully and fully dedicated to the
disciple of prayer.
