東京を拠点に活動する美術家。10 代でグラフィティと出会い、壁画中心の制作活動をはじめる。
蛍光塗料とブラックライトを用いたインスタレーション作品「day and night」で知られ、
近年はディスプレイに直接ペイントをする「16,777,216view」シリーズなどを発表。
過去には YVES SAINT LAURENT、Lane Crawford、TOPSHOP とのコラボレーションや、
文化庁メディア芸術祭ドルトムント展にて平川紀道との共作の展示を行った。
Houxo Que aka Questa is an artist based in Tokyo.
He started his career as a painter in 1999 with a background in graffiti
and has been working on canvases, live-paintings and murals since. His main series of works frequently referencing flowers, titled “Day and Night” ,
are luminous installations using florescent paints and UV lights.
