The applicant who takes the internet-based interview needs to submit
“Information needed for internet-based interview” to the prospective supervisor
in Kumamoto University.
Following instruction is given to assist the internet-based interview of the Graduate
School of Medical Sciences, Kumamoto University
1. A DOS/V computer with Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 as an operating system is
needed.
2. A free-software, “Skype” is going to be used for the internet-based interview.
3. The applicant must supply a user account of “Skype”, an e-mail address and an IP
address of the computer which is going to be used in the internet-based interview to
the prospective supervisor in the Kumamoto University.
4. After receiving the application, the committee of the Graduate School of Medical
Sciences in Kumamoto University notifies a user account of “Skype” to make an access
to a computer in Kumamoto University.
5. Language used in the interview is English.
Procedure
1. The committee of Graduate School of Medical Sciences in Kumamoto
University initiates the access to a computer of an applicant at an
appropriate time decided beforehand.
2. After confirming applicant’s photo-ID, the committee declares the start of the
interview of Graduate School of Medical Sciences.
3. At least, three committee members will ask the applicant several questions in
turn.
Note: The committee strongly recommends the applicants to go through a rehearsal of the
internet-based interview with a prospective supervisor in Kumamoto University.
