1. From the Wi-Fi settings menu, tap MORE > Smart network switch. 2. Tap On to enable the feature. Advanced Wi-Fi Settings The advanced Wi-Fi settings menu lets you set up and manage wireless access points. n Enable Notification When Open Networks Are Available: From Wi-Fi settings, tap MORE > Advanced > Network notification. l The setting is available when Wi-Fi is turned on. l Tap Network notification to turn the option on or off. n Passpoint: Automatically connect to Passpoint-certified Wi-Fi access points. n Set Timing for Pausing a Connection: From Wi-Fi settings, tap MORE > Advanced > Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep and then select a setting. n Allow Background Scanning for Wi-Fi Networks (Even When Wi-Fi Is Turned Off): From Wi-Fi settings, tap MORE > Advanced > Always allow scanning to turn the option on or off. n Install Network Security Certificates: From Wi-Fi settings, tap MORE > Advanced > Install network certificates and select a certificate. n Check MAC Address: From Wi-Fi settings, tap MORE > Advanced. l MAC Address appears below “MAC Address.” n Check IP Address: From Wi-Fi settings, tap MORE > Advanced. l IP Address appears below “IP Address.” Bluetooth Settings Your phone’s Bluetooth capabilities let you use wireless headsets, send and receive pictures and files, and more. Bluetooth Settings Operations n Enable Bluetooth: In Bluetooth settings, tap the ON/OFF switch to enable. l When enabled, confirmation appears for your phone to be discoverable by other devices. Follow the onscreen instructions. n Pairing Bluetooth Devices: Make sure the other devices are set to be discovered. From Bluetooth settings, tap the device name in “Available devices” and follow the onscreen instructions. l Depending on the device, you may be required to enter or accept a passkey. Settings 282
