Camera Options and Settings
You can adjust your camera’s settings using the icons on the main camera screen and the full camera settings menu.
Switch Cameras
Your phone lets you switch between the front and rear cameras.
1. From home, tap Apps > Camera .
The camera viewfinder appears.
2. Tap .
The camera switches type.
Set Camera Options
You can configure your camera’s settings to fit any situation and event.
1. From home, tap Apps > Camera .
The camera viewfinder appears.

3. Select your desired settings (listed in alphabetical order):
Note: Not all settings will be available at all times, depending on which camera is in use (front or rear). l Gesture control: Hold your hand out with your palm facing the camera to have your picture take after two seconds (front camera only).
l Grid lines: Display viewfinder grid lines to help composition when selecting subjects.
l Help: View help on using the camera.
l Location tags: Attach a GPS location tag to the photo.
l Picture size: Select a resolution. Use higher resolution for higher quality. Higher resolution videos take up more memory.
l Quick launch: Open the camera by pressing the Home key twice in quick succession.
l Reset settings: Reset the camera settings.
l Review pictures: Set to show photos or videos after taking them.
l Save as horizontally flipped: Save the self-portrait or self-recording as a reversed (or ‘mirrored’) image (front camera only).
l Shutter sound: Play a tone when the capture button is tapped.
l Tracking AF: Focus on and track a subject selected on the preview screen (rear camera only).
l Video size: Select a resolution. Use higher resolution for higher quality. Higher resolution videos take up more memory.

l Video stabilization: Activate anti-shake. Anti-shake helps to keep the focus steady when the camera is moving.
l Voice control: Set the camera to take photos with voice commands.
l Volume keys function: Use the Volume key as the camera key, the record key, or as a zoom key.
