「名画から学ぶ大人の英会話」講師：小野寺和子先生
毎月開催されるスクリーン・イングリッシュ・サロンで、ご指導頂いております翻訳家 小野寺和子先生が、アカデミー賞
受賞の名優アンソニー･ホプキンとヘレン・ハントが語るセリフから、ウィットに富んだ、知的な英語の表現について、名
画の各シーンを鑑賞しながらご紹介下さいます。また、仕事の交渉術（ディベート）にも参考になる実用的な表現が
満載です。テキストをご用意致しますので、英語が苦手な方もお気軽にご参加頂けます。当日は「サンキュー・スモー
キング（Thank You for Smoking）」、「ジョー・ブラックをよろしく(Meet Joe Black)」、「理想の女（A Good Woman）」
からハイライトシーンをお楽しみ頂く予定です。1時間のレクチャー後、映画に因んだ食材とワインをお楽しみ下さい。

Learning Sophisticated Phrases and Dialogues in English
through Great Movies – Guest Lecturer Ms. Wako Onodera
Renowned translator Mrs. Wako Onodera, who teaches English using famous films, will hold a special lecture
on sophisticated dialogues used in films. She has selected three popular films featuring Academy Award winning actors Sir Anthony Hopkins and Helen Hunt. The featured films are ‘Thank You for Smoking’, ‘Meet Joe
Black’ and ‘A Good Woman’. While showing us scenes from these films, she will introduce useful and sophisticated phrases and dialogues. Even if you feel your English is not good enough, don’t worry: we will be handing
out texts so you can follow along. After the hour lecture, there will be a film-inspired dinner especially created for this occasion. .
