GeoMedia® Viewer のセットアップは Windows
Installer を使用してソフトウェアをインストー
ルします。
GeoMedia Viewer をインストールする
前に
お使いのシステムが GeoMediaVuewer の
Readme にリストされている GeoMedia
Viewer 5.1 のシステム要件以上に設定されてい
るかを確認してください。
GeoMedia Viewer をインストールするシステム
に対して管理者権限があることを確認してくだ
さい。
注：Windows® NT の場合、GeoMedia
Viewer を使用するには Microsoft Data
Access (MDAC) 2.5 以上が必要です。また、
MDAC 2.5 は各種の ODBC ドライバを提供
しています。MDAC に関する詳細は、
Microsoft Universal Data Access
（http://www.microsoft.com/data ）Web サイトを
参照してください。Windows ME、
Windows 2000、および Windows XP オペ
レーティングシステムには MDAC が含まれ
ていますので MDAC ソフトウェアの更新は
必要ありません。

GeoMedia Viewer をインストールする
1. Windows プログラムをすべて閉じます。
2. GeoMedia Viewer CD を CD-ROM ドライ
ブに挿入するか、または GeoMedia Viewer
が保管されている共有ネットワークフォル
ダに接続します。
3. 共有ネットワークドライブからインストー
ルする場合、またはインストールが自動的
に開始されない場合は、[スタート] > [設定]
> [コントロールパネル] を選択し、[アプリ
ケーションの追加と削除]ウィザードを介し
て Setup.exe を実行します。また、
Setup.exe を直接ダブルクリックすることで
もインストールを開始できます。
4. [GeoMedia Viewer のセットアップ]ダイア
ログボックスが表示されたら、プロンプト
に従って、目的の場所に製品をインストー
ルしてください。
注：各コンポーネントのインストールフォ

5. インストール処理が完了したら、[完了]をク
リックします。

GeoMedia Viewer のライセンス
GeoMedia Viewer はライセンスを必要としな
い無料の製品です。
GeoMedia Viewer を開始する
GeoMedia Viewer を開始するには、[スタート]メ
ニューから[プログラム] > [GeoMedia Viewer ] >
[GeoMedia Vuewer ]を選択します。
最初に GeoMedia Viewer を開始したときには
[ようこそ!]ダイアログボックスが表示されます。
このダイアログボックスで、最初の GeoMedia
Viewer セッションをどのように開始するか選択
できます。[既存のジオワークスペースを開く]、
[新しいジオワークスペースを作成する]、また
は[これ以上、このスタートアップ画面を表示し
ない]の 3 つのオプションが含まれています。
[既存のジオワークスペースを開く]を選択する
と、[ジオワークスペースを開く]ダイアログボ
ックスが表示されます。そこで、既存のジオワ
ークスペースファイルを選択し、開くことがで
きます。
[新しいジオワークスペースを作成する]を選択
すると、[新規作成]ダイアログボックスが表示
されます。テンプレートを選択し、それから
[OK]をクリックすると、新しいジオワークスペ
ースが作成されます。

GeoMedia Viewerのインストール
[次回からはこの画面を表示しない]を選択する
と、次回の GeoMedia Viewer の開始時から、
[ようこそ！]ダイアログボックスは表示されな
くなります。このダイアログボックスが表示さ
れなくなっても、[ファイル] > [ジオワークスペ
ースを開く]を使用すれば既存のファイルを開く
ことができ、[ファイル] > [新しいジオワークス
ペース]を使用すれば新しいジオワークスペース
を作成することができます。

オンラインバージョンのマニュアルへアクセス
するには、[スタート] >[プログラム] >
[GeoMedia Viewer] > [ユーザードキュメント]
を選択します。

Acrobat Reader ソフトウェアがインストールさ
れていない場合、\Program Files\GeoMedia
Viewer フォルダの ar405eng.exe をダブルクリ
ックすると、英語版の Adobe Acrobat Reader
をインストールすることができます。また、最
新バージョン（適切な言語とオペレーティング
システムに対応した）の無償コピーは
http://www.adobe.com から取得できます。

GeoMedia Viewer を削除する
お使いのシステムから GeoMedia Viewer を削
除するには、以下の手順を実行します。
1. [スタート]メニューから[設定] >[コントロー
ルパネル]を選択します。
2. [コントロールパネル]から[アプリケーショ
ンの追加と削除]を選択します。
3. [GeoMedia Viewer]を選択します。
4. [削除]をクリックします。

リックして、それから[削除]をクリックしま

GeoMedia Viewer のインストールを変更するに
は、以下の手順を実行します：

トを選択し、それから[次へ]をクリックしま
す。GeoMedia Viewer のオプションのコン

Warehouses コンポーネントにおけるサンプ
ルデータだけです。
7. [インストール]をクリックして、オプション
のコンポーネントのインストールまたは削
除を開始します。
8. インストールまたは削除処理が完了したら、
[完了]をクリックします。

GeoMedia Viewer のインストールを修
理する
インストールされている GeoMedia Viewer が
動作しなくなった場合は、[修理]オプションを
使用します。このオプションは、インストール
されている GeoMedia Viewer をチェックし、
欠如または破損ファイルがある場合はそれらを
修復します。GeoMediaViewer のインストール
を修理するには、以下の手順を実行します：
1. [スタート]メニューから[設定] >[コントロー
ルパネル]を選択します。
2. [コントロールパネル]から[アプリケーショ
ンの追加と削除]を選択します。
3. [GeoMedia Viewer]を選択します。
4. [変更]をクリックします。
（Windows NT で
は、[追加/削除]をクリックします。
）
5. [次へ]をクリックし、それから[修理]をクリ
ックします。
6. [インストール]をクリックして、破損または
欠如ファイルのチェックと置換処理を開始
します。
