Can I melt a NiAl alloy with
50 at.% Al in a standard graphite
crucible?
ANSWER from MSI Eureka

Yes, you could, but
3 wt.% C (10 at.% C) will dissolve in
the AlNi melt.
Note:
All project results would be on a
Ni-Al-C alloy!
Not on NiAl alloys, as intended!!!.
