2007 年 12 月 12 日、日本では今年の漢字が「偽」に決まりました。構造計算書の偽造問題に始まり、有名・老舗
ブランド食品の産地偽装、原材料偽造、賞味期限の改ざんなど多くの安全に関わる事件が明るみにでた年でした。
2008 年に入ってからも中国産の冷凍ギョーザに混入された殺虫剤が原因と見られる中毒事故が発生するなど引き
続き企業や団体の安全に対する姿勢が問われております。

（Product Liability：製造物責任）は企業経営にとって、古くからのしかし永遠の課題であります。近年の消費者
や社会の「製品・食の安全」への関心の高まりによって、PL は製造業だけの問題ではなくサービス業を含めた全産
業の課題となってきております。
このような状況を踏まえ、あいおい損害保険の協賛によりセミナーを企画いたしました。講師には米大手損害保険
会社の Chubb 社よりロスコントロールの専門家を招き、最近の PL 動向と対応のポイントをわかりやすく解説、
Wilson Elser 法律事務所より PL 問題専門の弁護士を招きケーススタディーを行います。
